Two things? First, I thought it was usually a four game suspension for first offense?

Second Lombardi thinks they might win. I thought this might be the NFL version of the Ryan Braun defense, but there might be something to this.

Someone care to fill us in on the details such as how they'd construct a case for appeal?

There are vague tweets in the link that imply tampering and a possible solid case for the players.

Roger doesn't want Peyton to go to Denver. That's what the timing tells me.

Sounds like Virgil Green was suspended for taking ADHD medication prior to getting it approved...it has now been approved, but he's still suspended the four games.

    DJ Williams, however:

hopefully the NFL loses the case. It will be a bad mark on God-dell's record.

If the NFL can't reliably conduct this process in an effective way that doesn't leave it open to lawsuits, then I'd like to see them lose in court. The whole way that professional sports approaches PED testing just strikes me as asinine.

    That also was my thought.

The league office is doing Manning a favor.
