Surprised? No. Maybe that's because I have Brady's nearly complete bomb to Moss in the closing moments of SB42 forever burned into my memory, taunting me. That was one of the longest throws I've ever seen, and if it was 3 inches further, it would've been the greatest play in the history of anything that's ever been played, and the world might've instantaneously imploded from the sheer ridiculousness of it.
I've never questioned Brady's arm strength. When he has a guy who can get separation and present a viable target, he throws a good deep ball.
Not that I really want to talk about 'that game'... but Brady's pass bounced off Moss's hands... untouched by the DB. Yeah, a little more distance would have been good... but it was there to be caught.
Okay... now I must erase my mind...
