Surpised no one has mentioned this yet.

Solomon Wilcotts said more than once that Tom Brady said he's never felt better, and had his best week of practice. His play showed it. If Brady is on, we can beat anyone, and I mean anyone.

I also enjoyed seeing the Brady-Moss camaraderie on the sidelines, something I haven't seen much of lately, if not all year.

We may be on a run that propels us deep into the playoffs, at least to the AFC Championship.

Brady can HELP the team to win but he does not play STs or defense

Alas thats where the other 50 guys need to work together....a 100% Brady can't and won't be enough to win a SB

I'm glad Brady played well, but it was Jacksonville. The pass rush was almost non-existent (though I loved watching Brady duck that sack and complete to Welker for the first down).

It was really encouraging to see Brady play so well after he had been playing with injuries the past few weeks. He seems to be feeling a lot better. I hope he heals up and is ready to go for the play-offs.

Regardless of who the opponent was, the ribs weren't a problem this week. That was probably the biggest concern here. The overall health of this team is very very encouraging right now.

Brady playing his best football is key to the Pats chances. But Brady playing his best football also means the O-line is doing a good job with protection and receivers are able to get open. Having a solid running game doesn't hurt either.

The Pats played great today but as already pointed out, they will see much tougher opponents come playoff time on both sides of the ball.

Agreed....Wilfork is key to make a run deep in the playoffs though. It sounds like he may be getting close to coming back. Since Houston is a pass happy offense, I wouldn't be real disappointed if Wilfork sat out next week if it means him being near 100% wildcard weekend.

Okay okay he's all the way back when he can do that against the big dawgs, but again -- this went as well as it possibly could vs. Jax.

I agree - all NFL teams have players. Sure, Jacksonville might not be the 85 Bears, but they were at .500, which is solid.

The good week of practice remark was encouraging, and the results showed. He HAS been off the field suring the week lately - bruises, babies...

If he can go out there and do to Indy what he did to them in the first half, who knows ? Doesn't mean I THINK it'll happen, but it sure beats the crazy performances leading up to today's game.

Truth : we must hope for "any given Sunday" mentality, because winning tough teams on the road - while possible - is far from probable.

This team will only go as far as Brady can take them. Yes, he can't play defense and special teams but when he is on as he was today, he can make up for other parts of the teams mistakes. Clock killing drives are a big part of this. Over throwing open receivers deep and behind receivers in the short game and forcing balls into double coverage as we saw plenty of over the past month, means that this team will not likely overcome mistakes made in other parts of the game (Defense, lousy play calling and special teams)
