I am honestly concerned by his press conference and I really hoped that I wouldn't have been. He kept saying how he couldn't tell the difference between the time he first checked the footballs, liked them, and then the difference between how the ball felt in the first half and second half.
Now we know that the psi of most footballs (Maybe Mort is incorrect on the exact number of footballs which fell by 2 psi) fell by a significant amount.
Brady also said that he likes the footballs inflated to the min (12.5)...so then my question becomes why does he prefer the footballs at 12.5 psi versus 13.5 psi if he can't tell the difference??? Why does he even care if the inflation of the footballs is on the low or high side if he can't tell them apart???
Major misunderstanding on my part and a hole in his argument from my opinion.
I am really not happy about this and substantially more stressed out about the outcome...
she may have more money than him. You know after he made a mess of his affairs. If i was Brunel's wife i would divorce him for crying on TV over the pressure of a football.
You're thinking pressure = weight. It doesn't. A fall in pressure is very different than a fall in weight. It's not a 16% difference between 2 PSI as Borges claimed. It's just a lack of knowledge about the subject.
Brady talked about how sensitive he is to the ball when selecting them before the game.
During the game, he handles the ball for an average of 1 or 2 seconds per play (or 170-40 seconds total).
Dan marino had this to say: "Dan Marino made a great point -- that the last thing you're thinking about as a quarterback when you get to the line of scrimmage is, 'I wonder if this football is to 2 psi lighter?'" Theismann said.
here's the thing--and please don't take any offense to this...have you ever played sports? At a decent level, say high school at least and above? Ever have a particular 'thing' that you kinda need just right? Mid game that 'thing' may not mean jack SH*T when you're in the heat of the moment. But when you're suiting up you want it just right.
I was that way with the tape on my hockey sticks. Played through college. I'd redo the tape after every game and practice, took me 20-30 to re-tape a single stick, get the tack just right, rub down the base with a puck so it's nice and smooth, make sure no strands were poking out.
Some games I'd go out and, first shift, someone would step on it wrong and tear the tape, rip off chunk of it, whatever. You think I noticed a difference, cared about that little rip or the difference in how the stick felt in my hands? Absolutely NOT.
You think Brady can explain that to the media trolls? How psychotically prepared he is going into game day, wants everything to be setup perfect so he doesn't have to worry about the 'little things' once he's on the field? But then, with how much he has to account for on every play, on every read, that he couldn't give half a friggin sh*t about whether that ball was 12.5 or 14.5 or 10.5, he just wants to get it in his receivers hands.
And that's what they'll never understand, why they're cave trolls pounding away on their keyboards while Brady prepares for Seattle.

That ESPN crew was actually saying after Brady's pc that this whole thing was no big deal. Not a big deal at all.. UNTIL Brady and Belichick came out and refused to admit what they did.
Jesus.
I weep for the critical thinking skills of humanity.
What does it say about our priorities as a nation when our national news networks are carrying a live press conference about under inflated footballs?
Any way we can re watch the presser?
But then he goes on and says he likes the footballs at 12.5 psi, yet earlier he said he couldn't tell the difference. I think Tom spoke too much, he's hurting himself and the team. A LOT of journalists caught this, and now the verdict by THEM is guilty. I wish he would have kept it short and simple like BB. Tripping himself up with thes two comments.
