While it is possible it is also highly unlikely. Unless Belichick sees a guy who he thinks will dominate at the position for the next five years at #29 then he will go for value and draft one later and develop them. As things stand now i think the most likely selection is going to be fronty seven on defense with Nix, Hagemmann, Tuitt, Crichton, Ealy, or Shazier as the pick. 3-4 of those named will likely be gone and I think he takes the prospect among that group who he has rated the highest. while i was adamantly opposed to Shazier a month or so ago things have changed enough for them that I can now see him as a serious prospect in the first for them. I do think he is looking for more speed and coverage ability among his LB's and that Shazier could contribute from day one if they took him. They have no depth at all at the position and although Shazier would not have fulfilled their prototypical requirements in the past due to his size i think that is changing and he will be willing to take a guy under 6'3 and under 240, which he really hasn't ben willing to do in the past at LB.
Ultimately i think he is looking to fill roles at LB, DL, interior OL, and at TE, and i expect at least one of each in this draft. Hopefully they fill two of them with the #29 and #33 picks.
