He never will. Kraft is in an abusive spousal relationship with the POS and cannot realize the damage it does to his team and its fans. The statement would have been much more meaningful if he had called Goodell out by name.

I'm sure he reads some of the things written about him but you and everyone on this site should see the response he gets in public from the fans. He got a standing ovation at the draft party this past April. The majority of fans don't know or don't care to dislike him.I don't think BK realizes how badly he done ****ed up. It will take something monumental for us (Pats fans) to forgive BK at this point. I'm not sure it can be done to be honest.
I'm trying to think of what BK could do or accomplish, for me to forgive him for not defending Boston's greatest idol with every resource a billionaire has available (and don't give me all that yarn about how his hands were tied and yada yada, at this point I have a 100 times more respect for Al Davis than BK).
Maybe he'll succeed in being the driving force to getting Goodell fired, but for me it'd be... again too little too late.
Do you really think he was going to invite to the draft party anyone who didn't agree with Kraft. Were the people there also applauding the our pick in the first round too. I chose to forgive him for his monumental mistake because of his words and more importantly because it seems TB12 still loves the man and he obviously knows more than we do about Kraft's true feelings and about how he stood behind him.
As I said about TB dropping the legal fight whatever he does I stand behind him and his opinion of Kraft is included in that.
Actually BB did Brady a monetary favor by converting most of his salary into a bonus saving him millions. As for Kraft, you can divide his ownership into two terms. Prior to 2007 he was great and post 2007 he has been a disaster. The difference was that prior to to 2007 he put his team and its fans first and after that he became a defender of the Shield and its POS commissioner first and the team and its fans far behind.
Will it help if I hold my breath?Any min now he'll overthrow the Commish...
It was a first come first serve offer to all season ticket holders. I don't believe there was a poll about his popularity rating included in the invite but maybe big brother helped him weed out the haters before he invited anyone.Do you really think he was going to invite to the draft party anyone who didn't agree with Kraft. I have been following the team since 1960 so I know all about the previous management. Sullivan really cared about the team but didn't have two nickels to rub together and a buffoon of a son who cost him the team. Kiam was a total idiot. Kraft has been the best and owner the team has had but it doesn't excuse his actions regarding Goodell since 2007.You should have been around in the Kiam and Sullivan years.. when we were a laughingstock.
If you really think that the season ticket holders are representative of the fan base, then you are correct. I don't. Not just representative but the core.If you really think that the season ticket holders are representative of the fan base, then you are correct. I don't. Did you hear a lot of cheering for the first round draft pick by the Pats.
Through this entire process Bum Kisser Bob Kraft has not criticized Goodell by name in any degree in any of his statements.
It will only be a matter of time before the media catches a picture of Kraft & Goodell, hugging, laughing, sharing an icecream, or holding hands together.
I will never give Kraft one iota of respect until I hear him say anything unflattering about Goodell.
You should have been around in the Kiam and Sullivan years.. when we were a laughingstock.
I've been a Kraft critic and hated it when he caved in and I hate it every time he smoozes with that slimeball Goodell.
Maybe I'm too much of a softie, but I'll accept him at his word that it was a huge mistake on his part to cave, and that he fully supports Tom. Dislike my post all you want. Maybe I'm just tired of hating on anyone but the NFL office and ISIS.
IMO it is a well-written statement.
Better would have included a shot at Goodell by name, but I can only hope that behind the scenes he will strive for ousting that scum.

"While I was disappointed with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision not to rehear Tom Brady’s case, I am most frustrated that Tom was denied his right to a fair and impartial process. The League's investigation into a football pressure matter was flawed and biased from the start, and has been discredited nearly unanimously by accredited academics and scientists.
"The penalty imposed by the NFL was unprecedented, unjust and unreasonable, especially given that no empirical or direct evidence of any kind showed Tom did anything to violate League rules prior to, during or after the 2015 AFC Championship Game. What Tom has had to endure throughout this 18-month ordeal has been, in my opinion, as far removed from due process as you could ever expect in this country.
"From day one, I have believed in Tom and given him my unwavering support in his pursuit to rightfully clear his name of any wrongdoing. That support extends throughout our organization and has only grown more steadfast as the preponderance of scientific evidence has exonerated Tom. Unfortunately, this stopped being about air pressure a long time ago.
"This entire process has indelibly taken a toll on our organization, our fans and most importantly, Tom Brady. His reluctant decision to stop pursuing further action and to put this situation behind him is what he feels is best for the team in preparation for this season and is fully supported by me and our entire organization.
"To our devoted fans, your unwavering support for Tom and our organization have only reinforced our longstanding belief that we have the greatest fans in all of sports. We will continue to unequivocally support Tom and know our fans will rally around him and the rest of the team like never before. Our full focus now is on making the upcoming season a memorable one for all of our fans."

Kiam and Sullivan did not have BB and TB either. So there's that. I wonder what their stories would have looked like if either of them had two GOATs?
I don't understand how Kraft feels comfortable allowing Goodell **** all over the two men most responsible for his legacy as a sports team owner.
Is he a good businessman? Yes. Was he good for the Patriots? Absolutely
But for PR purposes he is playing both sides of the chess board. Appease the fans one day and Goodell the next. It's ridiculous.
I don't like what Kraft did and how he handled it at all. I think he's a spineless, gutless, piece of **** and I have since he backed down over Spygate. That said, I'm not sure what any of you expected. He's not getting his feet held to the fire. People are still going to go to the games, still buy merchandise, still spend money on concessions and beer. He's still pulling in your cash. The TV contracts are already written well before the season starts. You're still posting daily on this message board and complaining, which means you intend to follow the league. I guess it's cathartic, but you're really not doing anything to stop him from doing what he's done (which was back the league over his guy) when you're still doing all of that and renewing your season tickets.
I still believe a Facebook page for season ticket holders to let Kraft know that Goodell's presence at Gillette is not acceptable is a good way to go.
I think Joker showing up in Goodell's suite is a more satisfying way to go.
