Losing the first-rounder sucks, no ifs, ands, or buts.
That said, though, in the long run, there won't be that much damage to the Patriots' reputation, seeing as by 2005 they were already pretty much hated (or, at best, grudgingly respected/admired) league-wide.
On the flip side, I suspect that as long as Mangini is with the JEST, the Patriots will show them absolutely no mercy on the field. 38-14 may be as close as they come for a LONG time.
And let me say this--I'm angry at Belichick for doing this. I'm equally angry at Mangini for being a hypocritical rat.
