Are we Spoiled?

Anyone here go back before the BB era?

We used to know before the season began that we were not going anywhere. This year we are more than likey going to go 12-4 maybe 13-3 and
its Not good enough. You make the playoffs and you have a shot to go the SB. Seems like we should be happy.

Before BB? Hell yeah.

I'm only as spoiled as reaching and exceeding one's 'fan' dreams can make me.

However, once you attain your initial dream, you set your goals higher...

Continual NFL elite status is the only acceptable goal now.

The crazy thing is that it feels attainable every year in this era.

Can you image being a Lion,Brown,Viking,Chief fan?

* I've been a Patriot fan since 1960 so I don't have to imagine it. I know how the Raiders, Caridnals and all those current losing teams feel. It's one reason I rarely trash talk with other teams fans, unless one gets in my face. I know how it feels to have a crap team. The Patriots, at times WERE the current Cards and Raiders, I DO NOT think it makes one spoiled because they(I) look at the team in a rational, objective, realistic way. Frankly, I don't care what anyone here or anywhere else thinks about anything I may post here or elsewhere. I'm extremely grateful for the 3 Super Bowl wins. I find nothing wrong with wanting more.
