at least thats what the boston media would say if this was mcdaniels and Brady after the last few years of "peyton calls his own plays" "peyton is like a general out there" "Peyton is like having an Oc on the field"

On Feb. 2, 2014, Adam Gase needed play that might reset the course of things in the Super Bowl. He has found a play before in this stadium in this season -- during a September game against the New York Giants. The score was 10-9 in the third quarter. ... But this time, Gase says frankly now, "I don't have that play." ... "I make some bad (play) calls," he said. "We had too many turnovers (two interceptions, two fumbles). We didn't protect Peyton as we should. We played our worst game on offense." The Seattle Seahawks claimed afterward they had deciphered theBroncos' hand signals and knew what play was coming. "We were aware of everything they were doing on defense too," Gase said. "They didn't do anything unusual. We just didn't execute. They did." Sleepless nights and restless months have followed.
