    1. Danny Woodhead is better than Faulk with the ball in his hands. Kevin has been one of my favs for years, but Woodhead has amply made up for his loss and dare I say, he's much more of a "Game Breaker" than Kevin every was. Woodhead still has a long way to go to become as reliable as Faulk was in big games/situations, but he's making huge strides every game.

    2. I take back anything I ever said or thought about BOB. Wow, what a game he called and his creativity is awesome. 2 plays that stand out, the one where they motion Welker in, just behind the tackle, which creates a natural pick for Woodhead (Gain of like 35-40 yards). The second play was the motion of Hernandez across Brady's front, fake hand off to him, quick slant to Welker for a first down. Just great.

    4. Does the D still have problems, sure, but they came to play and that makes me feel awesome for the playoffs.

    5. I heard on PFW in progress that Hernandez's diminished role had something to do with him being a little to happy with himself after the Browns game (He had 2 TD's). Well, be it true on not, welcome back Aaron. I also liked his "Make it Rain" TD celebration.

    6. Probably will go unnoticed, but our kick-off coverage isn't very good right now. I know we had one really goofy KO that ended up on the 50, but Graham's leg isn't that strong and we're not getting the touch backs we once were. The wind may have also been a factor last night too, but this is something that we just need to keep an eye on going forward. Luckily we had a lot of practice last night.

    7. TOM F'ing BRADY! That is all.

    Agree on all.

I'd like Faulk to stick around next year as the veteran or try and slide him in as a Coaching assistant.

    Bill O'Brien was brilliant.

    You missed out a Number 3 ;)

They do have problems, but that;s the most complete D we've seen all year. They were tearing the ball out of the Runners hands as well. The referees whistle stopped the ball being stripped 3 times.

Great to see Hernandez appearing in the RedZone where he had struggled pre Browns game.

The wind played a part against Graham, but that early FG was massive.

    MVP! MVP! MVP!

Thought Special teams were going to be a problem.surprised we got off as well as we did. IMO, the short KO was not on purpose. Graham did OK considering he's lucky to get inside the 10 on a warm day. Returns were covered well considering what Smith has done to others. The way we had covered lately, I was afraid he would break one.

I'm not sure I agree with your kickoff coverage issue. The Jets have a good return game (best in the league at the start of the game), and were held to an average return of 20 yards, 8 yards under Smith's average. Not sure what you expect from that unit, but that sounds pretty good to me.

As for Woodhead, he is likely quicker than Faulk, (40 time of 4.33 to 4.48), which means he should be able to lose defenders once he get by him, but he likely will not be as good breaking tackles given the weight difference of 25 or so pounds. Woodhead is not being used in the same way as Faulk was used (Faulk was a true 3rd down back), and appears to be benefiting from significantly better blocking than Faulk was used to getting downfield. In terms of long-term solutions, Woodhead has done a great job in his 10 games, but he isn't even in the neighborhood of Kevin Faulk until everyone on the defense knows the ball is going to him and still cannot stop him.

We actually did better than I thought we would on Kick coverage last night. Wind was definately a factor.

On Woodhead, yes I would say his vision is right up there with Faulk, while he is quicker and somehow seems to be stronger, finish better than the bigger Faulk. The clutch factor remains to be seen playoff time, but against the Colts he made 2 huge 3rd down plays when he could've been tackled just short and wiggled just enough for the first. That is classic Faulk.

BOB has been outstanding this year. As for the D, I would like to see BB's record when having 10 or more days to prepare for a game. They were very well prepared and executed to perfection. Great sign for the playoffs if we get the bye: we would have 2 weeks to prepare for the first opponent and then if we advance, we will MOST LIKELY face a team we've already played this year. And given we win that, 2 weeks to prepare for the SB. Given the work of our staff this year that plays heavily into our favor, must get that bye!

One thing I forgot, as the game wore on and the lead kept getting bigger I thought to myself, "Please, please, please let the Jets and/or the Patriots be wired for sound".

I would love to hear some of the talk on the field during the replay on NFL Network.

Regarding Graham: He, again, had a very solid performance for the Pats. He may not be getting it into the endzone, but he's not out-kicking the coverage. The only plays that gave the Jets any decent field position were the 1 squib type kick and then the last kick of the game, when the ball was CLEARLY frozen..

As to kicking compare the Jets abysmal performance to the Pats and you'll see that wind was a factor. Once the kick gets up high, sh!te happens. On the field it wasn't too bad. I think the pick by Run DMc was because The Sanchise lofted the ball too high and it got 'winded'. Brady's intermediate depth throes were flat laser shots. These were not the right conditions to throw 50 yard bombs.

Woodhead: great observation on the downfield blocking. I've noticed guys like Edelman and Welker making effective downfield blocks for the guy, something that 81 was somewhat half hearted about.

I gotta say that down in the front row where those clowns were sitting it was not cold at all. Wind down there unlike at goalpost height was not too bad. I even took off my hat on occasion to cool down.

Some thoughts i had after the game:

Jets need a punter and they need a FG kick...hell they need an offense

Pats did everything you wanted them to do last night..score at will..take the ball away ect

I chortle at how it must have been for Blowhard Ryan, Shell Shocked Sanchez and Lady Tomlinson on the ride home to the pits of NY last night.
