Perhaps I can boost Sneed.

Also, BradyFTW or ford, don't forget, we can sign my friend's DT (now level 14 or 15) on day 5. He's ready to join the pride, and he's already been benched by his current team :).

Cheers.

hey man i recreated my player under your referral name. so now what do i do? sorry im new to this. oh, his name is Tyler Uher

I just noticed our 4th WRs contract had lapsed. He's been inactive a lot so I'm guessing we're now down to 3 WRs.

Anyone got a WR of any level they wanna add? He'll definitely get some reps.
I had a real life friend just join up a couple days ago He made a WR named Henry Smog I don't know how much money he'll be using but he toldm e he'd let me keep an eye on him when he can he only level one but if you that desperate he is there

You can do a few things. You get a free 1k flex points (unless I'm remembering wrong) when you sign up so depending on what sort of char you made can spend those flex points to upgrade your guy to a higher level. That's my advice.

You also get a bunch of cash, use that to buy equipment for your guy. When you buy equipment you specify which stat you want upgraded. My suggestion would be to put all the points in either Speed or Strength depending on your position.

After that you can join a team. I'm not sure how many snaps you'll get on the Pride, dunno what position you are. We have spots open for backups at a few positions but you'll get more playtime with another team.

thanks, I made a OT. But I only have 300 flex points. do u know why?

You only start with 400 for free.`

Leveling is so slow at this point, it seems like a toss up that anyone will reach 24 this season. We'll be able to calculate it after seeing how much xp you get from tonight's game.

By the way, my boy Slay was interviewed earlier by a BPFW staff member. He talked about his improved training regime, and guaranteed a convincing victory on opening day with an MVP performance by him.

I'm going to have to start putting a leash on his mouth before he becomes a team distraction :D

$250,000 for 4 stat points = $62,500 per stat point.

Intense training at level 21 vs. Relaxed training at level 21 = $50,000 per stat point.

So basically, buying level 24 equipment is even less money-efficient than Intense training, which is already a complete waste of money.

This should at least remind everyone how much we should be worrying about it.

Worst case scenario is that it takes us a little longer to hit our level 24 guys, depending on our finances. But as I've tried to illustrate, it shouldn't make a big difference either way.

O.K. I'm on the St. Lewis Sentinals. I'm a level 3 OT.

I have a qb named Rocky Launcher(dont laugh) he's six five 212 lbs and has like 29 throwing. not bad for a newly created guy huh? Anyways hes on a computer team right now though, and I dont really know what to do with him next.

Interesting analysis, actually. I wish I had done some things differently with my exisiting equipment - I didn't account for the fact that my higher abilities (speed in this case) were going to cost 2 pts each at some point in the future - I should be upping that with equipment, and spending points on the lower abilities (agi, vis, tak etc). I'll slowly remedy that as I get $$$ and level up.

Btw, it seems on our depth chart that our fullback is currently set as our PR/KR, I put stamina into Barkley so he can handle ST duty this year, and he's probably the best bet at PR/KR, 61 speed and 3 points in return specialist.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I'd like to put Barkley back as a PR/KR because he was pretty good at it. We'll just have to monitor him for the playoffs because Barkley is basically our Tom Brady.

Hey Tobias, I saw your message in The Look's forum about TEs being set to run block - is that a tactic specifcally for that team or is there some more widespread benefit that we should employ here? Currently, Walter is set to balanced blocking.

i am rather amazed that out 3 top OTs are all the same level that is nuts

Would it make sense to switch the guards? I think most runs go to the right side so it might be better to have Eugene Chung at RG since he is 8 levels higher than the other guard.

It's a widespread benefit to have all your WRs and TEs set to run block.

I mean, if we're running a pass pattern that needs pass blocking, ideally the WRs and TEs are running routes, so we shouldn't ever need to rely on them for that.

But if you're running the ball, you want your WRs and TEs to have a bonus to block, because that's when they're going to be doing it.

Plus, once a WR gets the ball, he's officially a runner, so it helps after the catch, as well.

All right, I'll give this a go for this game and see how it turns out. I'm a little nervous because the last time I changed my advanced tactics I set running to "power" and I lost a fumble. Any insight on an increased incidence of sacks/hurries given up as a result of the switch?

No. I can tell you that "elusive" running is generally best for almost all people with the ball except maybe power backs. At the very least it helps you avoid running directly into a tackle for no reason, which, even if you are a big strong TE, is still pretty stupid in this game.

Wrap-Up is also waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the alternative for every single player on defense. Period.
