This is an interesting prospect. Already 27, started at Alabama, quit to try baseball, wasn't good enough, went back to football at Auburn. 6'3" 215 WR with 4.5 or 4.55 speed.

Here's some Bryce Williams highlights. Like his competitiveness, fights for the ball. Good hands and concentration

He looks like Zack Sudfield 2.0 yuck seems like guys are always around him when he makes a catch.

No sudfeld was dudfeld. This guy is pretty good.

Only thing he had in common with Sudfeld was the position he played and the hair. Otherwise 2 completely different players.

Great video and article behind DJ Foster's draft day and his UDFA decision. Must watch. 12news.com/sports/college

Doug Kyed @DougKyed
Patriots "could not be more fired up" to lock down D.J. Foster as a UDFA.

Mike Loyko @NEPD_Loyko
DJ Foster had the top Short Shuttle at the combine and the 4th best 3-cone. Ran mid 4.4s at his pro day. Definitely one to watch.

Mike Loyko @NEPD_Loyko
Probably because the switch between two positions, teams likely not sure what exactly he is or where he fits. twitter.com/reTYliate/stat…
----->Ty Jackson @reTYliate
----->@NEPD_Loyko any reason he's an UDFA?

If someone named Tr'ey ever declares, the Patriots will trade up to #1 to be sure they get him.

Does Tre'Davious count? Projected first round LSU CB for next year called Tre'Davious White.

Not one UFDA OLman signed. Zero.

Bill has purposefully - how else to explain it? - made the situation at OT even worse than it was when
the season ended. Congrats, "Genius"(snicker), way to go.

Oh, and Zero UDFA RBs signed either.

When the season ended, Nate Solder was on IR and Dante was retired. Now they aren't. I don't know how you consider the situation worse now.

And we did sign a RB, DJ Foster, a guy that could possibly take James White's job.

Captain, people would take your criticism of picks more seriously if you didn't throw in that genius crack and act like a douche in every post. It feels like a pick you hated long ago worked out and you never forgave Belichick for it. Are you Ron Borges?

You're really whining about how no UDFA OL being signed has made the OT position worse? My f***ing word you're such a troll.

If this was my site I would have banned your ass a long time ago.. You offer nothing to this forum except for constant *****ing.

There are currently 15 offensive linemen on the Patriots, if memory serves.

Barker
Cannon
Fleming
Karras
Kline
Mason
Milton
Stork
Waddle
Solder
Vollmer
Andrews
Cooper
Thuney
Jackson

I'm not sure how many more you think they should have on a 90 man roster, but that's 1/6th of the total allowed roster slots.

How is the current OT situation worse than it was at season's end?

Oh, and Zero UDFA RBs signed either.

That is incorrect, although they have, to date, not signed the kind of 2 down runner that many of us wanted, and expected, them to bring in.

Edit: Just wanted to add that, given the Patriots recent penchant for rotating on the OL, and given the concussion history of Stork, drafting Thuney would make sense even if the team felt 100% confident that both Mason and Jackson project to be first team All-Pro guards this season.
