Humber Super Snipe

Can't wait to buy my "the lumberjack did it" shirt after he makes the clinching play in the Super Bowl.

So disappointed we didn't spend all our money on an all pro LB so he could sit while we played nickle and dime packages using only our two current all pros.

I guess [shock!] they want to spend on other positions while having n ace ST guy who has started some games if needed.

Someone misunderstood Bill. He was telling Linda he wanted a hummer.... ;)

Sounds like he knows Mike Sam.

This JAG would've been available to sign as a mini-camp blocking dummy.
Bill wasting time on this crap while players with actual talent are slipping through his fingers…
…and Cannonfodder remains on the payroll.

Just so we're clear - Bill Belichick - who is likely the most prepared and diligent coach in football, a guy who is the architect of the most successful run in football history (accounting for the salary cap era), a guy who has won 4 Super Bowls - often on the backs of cast off/unheralded guys, - can't handle multiple contract negotiations and/or is incapable of delegating responsibilities to his GM's or other personnel staff?

Yeah. Ok.

As for "Cannonfodder" - why cut a guy who has no clear replacement on the roster? Until the cap room is necessary (which isn't an issue), there's no point in cutting a guy. By the use of a silly nickname, it's clear you dislike Cannon, but there are actually much worse OL out there.

Although LB is obviously a need with players such as Mayo and Fleming gone, I highly doubt that anyone expected a big free agency signing at the position. That can be addressed in the draft--and yes, we'll certainly use more than 2 LBs, considering that most seasons see them go down to numbers 4 and 5 due to injuries.

There are however, other positions on the team that could've used an upgrade, such as RB, TE, WR, OL, and possibly even a role in the secondary.

BB cant expect for everyone of his projects to turn into an elite player. I see another season of our defense bending heavily but not breaking and Brady throwing for 35+ attempts a game.
I think the issue isn't with Bill expecting these guys to turn into elite players, but with you not appreciating the value of nonelite players. That being said, who tha feck is this guy

You have a draft of this saved that you paste every year at this time, right? You don't actually go through the process of typing that out each March do you?

Cannon really is the worst offensive lineman in the history of the world so I can't knock him for bringing that up again lol
