Statistical evidence of altitude effect in Denver

Is there clear statistical evidence showing how the altitude in Denver hurts visiting NFL teams? Is there any technique that has been successful in countering that effect?

It takes 4-7 days to initially adjust to the altitude, so you could try to get there 4-7 days before the game. Not sure if anyone ever tried it.

I have lived here for a total of 19 years, came here in the military. The altitude issue is very subjective, some folks feel it some dont. Myself I have never been affected by high altitude up to 14K, I know a lot of folks in my old unit in spec ops that didnt get affected but I knew a lot that did. I know guys that have lived here their entire life and they get affected by driving into the mountains...it just depends on the person. Im sure there is some small effect for everyone but not convinced it is affects everyones performance in a major way.

There's statistical evidence that this season, Peyton has performed far more poorly at high altitude than Brady has. Peyton has 1 TD there in 6 games. Brady has 3 TDs there in 1 game. Advantage Brady.

Perhaps that should be the new narrative.

We can dig up some statistical evidence that shows the effects of Belichick standing on the opposing sideline of Peyton Manning in the playoffs relative to Manning's performance. Hehe.

There is no altitude. John Denver was full of ****.

The earlier team that won our first 3 Super Bowls had way less rotation than this current team. The emphasis on rotation with this team I think somewhat negates the altitude advantage of the Broncos.

The best way to counter it is to get up early by multiple scores.

When you go to Colorado, you'll find there is a lot of high attitude.

One things for sure, if the Gillette Stadium was in high altitude, the rest of the country will see it as having an advantage for the Pats and so the Pats are cheating. Goodell would fine the Pats and take away draft picks. In the off season, an owners meeting would make a rule that no stadium can be higher than a certain altitude. Kraft would be forced to build a new stadium or sell the team.
