I like the idea of running a lot in this game, but they need to mix in some throws, especially on 3rd and 8s. We do have a fairly good QB.

Patriots protecting Brady with game plan. On third-and-8 shotgun run to Bolden. Hasn't dropped back yet. Only pass a shovel pass.

yeah it would keep the fish off balance and help the running game if JMD had brady throw the ball once in awhile.

The run game requires time and effort to be established. They need to continue investing in it for it to pay off later in the game. Trees don't fall with one strike of the axe.

We should care. The #1 seed is still in play. I don't want us to play in Denver when we could quite easily be playing in Foxboro.

If you're not going to try because you're worried about Brady, may as well play Garappolo.

If you're worried about protection run a screen or something that at least has a chance.

Still think we win big. It's early.

They might as well take out Brady. No reason risk getting him injured if they are not even going to try to pass the ball. He hasn't thrown a real pass in two possessions even facing third and long twice.
