Landry never won a Super Bowl without Roger Staubach. And he coached, what, over 20 years? That says something.

Yea if Roger plays vs BAL they most likely win that game.

With that said he did lose a couple of SBs and had some horrible playoff games.

Even gentleman like Roger Staubach (who is also one of my favorites) is human.

But did he use fully inflated footballs confirmed to be at or over 12.5 psi? Because that is the standard for judging every quarterback who has ever played.

When I was a kid watching those great Cowboys and Steelers teams in the 1970s, I always dreamed of the Pats having a legendary QB like Staubach and Bradshaw. Little did I know, we'd be blessed with the greatest of all time. But I always respected those 2 guys in the 1970s. They were both so clutch. Hated how they always seem to win, and those 2 SBs that the Steelers won over the Cowboys were classics, both by 4 points.

Staubach IMO is the 3rd best of all time (in recent football history) just behind Brady/Montana.

He simply had the bad luck to play his career in the buzzsaw that was the 1970s. Steelers/Dolphins/ect... So many amazing teams.

Unlike those teams though he was a big time driving force to his own teams success.

That's a tough call, lots of great QBs in history. I would put Elway and Marino ahead of him. Also would put Unitas and Steve Young ahead of Staubach. Tough to rate QBs from different eras, but Staubach and Bradshaw are definitely in my top 10 (top 15 ?).
