We have to stop Lamar Miller and Jarvis Landry. I'm feeling good if we can limit those two.

and rishard matthews.

the so called "new look" dolphins is the same as the old one. honestly, the dolphins just beat two of the worst teams in the league - tennessee and houston - and people are afraid of them?

I have no idea what to make of this matchup. Hell, I thought the last couple games were going to be laughers, and they were tight. I kinda think this one might be tight, so maybe it'll be an epic blowout.

I'm #74 or something on alamo's game, so there's your guidance.
You thought this week would be a laugher with all the injuries we had?

I thought the Jest D was overrated. I predicted 38-21 (I think), which, if not for some dropped passes, might have actually been kinda close.

Thanks for the bulletin board material, dipshit

Reading that made my brain hurt.

Love the confidence lol

I am predicting a blowout..haven't had one in a while

Our offensive line will have another test. Their d line's playing alot better

Our Oline has held up against superb Dlines already. I'm not worried. Their big offseason addition, Suh, has always been a nonfactor against us.

Dolphins getting dumber by the minute it seems. After two wins against **** teams, here is a gem from one of their mentally handicapped fans:

Honestly though, we just have too many darn weapons when this team is firing on all cylinders. I don't want to turn this into a Tannehill discussion BUT we have an extremely talented corp of receivers that are great catching the football and fighting for every yard. Even if they do shut down Landry to a certain extent, there are too many other names to beat you. Brady is going to have to have a huge day to beat us at the level we're playing at right now...I almost look at NE as the underdogs in this one.

Who does Belichick take away on our offense? - Page 2

Does this remind you of the fanbases of any other teams we've already played and beaten this season? (hint: they're both in our division)

As a Dolphins fan I'm personally not expecting a win. Although in recent history we have tended to split against you guys. For some reason Brady struggles against Miami -- more often in Miami though.

Either way I'll be pretty happy if we can put up a solid fight and then take the mini-bye and beat Buffalo at Ralph Wilson. But I'm not going to say a win is completely out of the question Thurs. It's possible, just very unlikely.

Let's look at your previous 2 victories against us:

2013: That was a NE team decimated by injury on both sides of the ball, with the most important injury of all being our unstoppable force at TE.

2014: We were a train wreck in those first 4 games. After losing the opener, we struggled against the worst team in the league and got humiliated in KC. We turned things around and blew you out in Foxboro.

This game on Thursday won't be anything like the aforementioned games. If we get Sheard and Lewis back, it could very well get out of hand early.

I get the circumstances were different, but technically you guys only became a trainwreck in 2014 after you got whooped in Miami. Either way, the Pats have still generally handed it to the Phins and certainly anyone with some knowledge of the game wouldn't expect Miami to win Thurs in NE.

I'm just grateful for the way they've been playing the past two games. Against good teams or not, they've been on fire. Hopefully they can sustain that for the length of the season. I don't believe in moral victories, but if they can play well on Thursday and keep things close I'll be optimistic for the rest of the season.

Miami whuped on Brian hoyer & a rookie...so miami trolls....his do they compare to tom brady?

I think this is a good game to manage expectations. As I said in a previous thread I could see your team winning but I don't find it likely. The key to you winning is based on your WRs/Tannehill/Cameron Wake. You need to be able to pass on us for a lot of yards and TDs and Wake needs to get home. The only way to stop Brady is to get pressure. Greg Hardy kept this offense down for about a half Wake is the kind of player that can do that as well but he needs to do it nearly 3/4 quarters probably. Your WRs need to make big plays. In fact I would question how much Millar should run. Yes he has been pretty good but to beat the Pats you need to play from the beginning as if you were behind. You almost certainly need 30 points and need to act like it. This includes going for it on 4th in the red zone and such.

The main issue the Patriots have with Miami is playing them early in the season @ Miami. That is when you HFA is most potent by far.

Can't help who you play can only help how you play. If you wanna be considered a decent to good team when you play bad teams you need to blow them out. You did that so good for the dolphins. It does not make them elite of course but it does show they are playing fairly well right now. The Pats generally hand it to everyone :p I think a close game from the Phins would be a good moral victory. I do believe in those for teams that are not really in super bowl contention.

Lamar Miller definitely has been gettin' busy over the past couple weeks since Campbell took the reigns. He's been given a lot more carries, and he has improved his yardage per carry.

it looks like Miami is recovering...interesting game for sure...

I hate Thursday games. They're always ugly and low scoring. I got the Pats winning but a 10.5 point spread is just silly. Not with how Miami is playing and not on a Thursday! God, I wish sports betting was legal

True, the spread should be much higher.
