Patriots practice underway and veteran CB Tarell Brown (foot) is not present. Brown's status could have led to Rashaan Melvin claim.

The fact the Patriots were one cornerback short, after releasing Fletcher, may have also led to the claim.
The opportunity to get an experienced, young player came up when the Ravens had a cornerback
shuffle.

That could be the one problem in that game Sunday. I do not like our CB situation if Brown sits.

Well I think it should be fine though as long as Andre Johnsons game last week was only because of him facing his old team. If it is a sign then that's an issue.

I don't mind this. Brown is going to miss a few games. Just how it is with him. The key is to not try to push him and make sure he is 100% for the playoffs. If healthy he is clearly #2 and we don't want to lose him long term. I have no issue resting him this week.

We really do need a trade here for another CB. Depth is just not good and if another injury happens...yeah let's not go there but we need an addition.

Say what we will about the Clots suckiness, but our CB situation is driving dangerously close to the
final scene of Thelma & Louise territory.

Bill cannot be seriously contemplating entering the POs with Logan Ryan as our #3, Justin Coleman
as our #4, and Rashaad Melvin as our #5…is he?

I think we should see what Melvin looks like for this week, if struggles begin here then yeah we better bring someone in. I don't think it even has to be a big name guy, just a vet like T Brown would definitely be good enough.

you're jumping waaaay too far hear. Is it an issue? Yes, but let's not act like we're in dire straits here with our situation. This isn't 2011 here.

Aaron Rodgers will slice and dice through our secondary like this.....
