Looking ahead to our next game, the Dallas Cowboys Zone forum has some early thoughts on the week 5 match-up. Bear in mind that the postings within the thread may be kneejerk after a tough loss against Atlanta:

NO - loss if Brees is back
Patriots - lol, huge loss
NYG - loss
Seahawks -loss

I expect us to go 1-3 over the next 4 games.

Saints - win
Pats- huge loss

1-6 until romo backs

...NE will not be pretty

I have Tom Brady on my fantasy team so I'm expecting a 40 point showing from him week 5.

Too soon?

We might win one game

well at least we will have a good draft position

I predict the NE game will be butt ugly

New England 48- dallas 6

NO - W
Ne-L
@Nyg -W Dez return
Sea -L
Phi-W
TB-W

The over/under until "he just can't stand it anymore" and says something very petty and stupid.

I'll bet Bill and Tom learned from their mistakes during the last FU tour and they will finish it out this year. Quote me when it happens.

I totally agree with this but at 8-0 I will be totally sucked in.

I was coming to actually ask this about that. At what point would we consider 19-0 a possibility? 8-0? 10-0?

Personally, if they come out of Denver undefeated, I like their chances. Until then, I'm biting my tongue on the matter

Don't think about it until game 14. Too much can happen between now and then.

I don't care. After 50 in San Fran if all goes well, then I'll think about it. Been there and done that the first time. Not doing it this time.

And neither are they.

Well it started in the media last week so week 2 is your answer. It will grow if they get through Indy and will blow up if they get through Denver.

It's a weird thing. If we knew it was going to happen, everyone would want 19-0. But there is enormous stress and pressure on it as the season goes along. But what then? Do we root for the patriots to lose sometime? Of course not.

So whether or not we're predicting it or rooting for it or whatever, it's just something we have to wait and see… and considering how the patriots always get better as the season goes on and rarely lose after Thanksgiving, if they make it past 11 or 12 you know they're going to the playoffs without a loss.

Gun to my head right now, the Pats are 18-0 and playing Green Bay next February.

Yeah, it's not high on my list of things I want to see again, but if it happened, though…wow. I just don't need to see it again. It was actually mostly stressful as a fan, and the players seemed really worn down by it as it well.
Well said, And also, losing a game a or two helps the team work on their short comings and be better prepared come playoff time.

I'm not worried about going 16-0 during the regular season, as I don't believe that the NY Giants will be waiting for us at Levi's Stadium.

Making this a sticky would be ultimate bad karma...just bump it each week...

Frankly don't care about going undefeated, just want them to make it to the Super Bowl don't care if they are 9-6.

So you think bill and his coaching staff just completely disregard game film after a win, and instead show the team their highlights?

I hope they don't even activate the punter for the Colts aka tattle talers game

Inferring that from my post is same as inferring the AFC Cham'shp Balls were 2 PSI under the limit rather than 0.2.

Do you think the PATS will be playing teams from the Lingerie football league this year and streamroll their way to SB 50?

Be more defensive. You can't. All I was trying to point out was that Bill and his guys will pick out flaws whether they win or lose. The whole needing to lose notion to me is absolute garbage. Their goal is to play their best and prepare each week to win that game. mabye a team that isn't coached the way our is would need to lose a game to correct shortcomings and flaws, but with Bill and the staff he put together I'm pretty sure he can do that without needing to sacrifice a whole game.
