Marcel Dareus' deal includes $60 million in guaranteed money, highest guarantee for a non-QB in NFL history. Dareus suspended week 1, too.

He's not worthy of that.

Good lord. He's a good player, but $18 million a year? $60 million guaranteed? That's ludicrous

Their starting 4 d-linemen are projected to take over $50M in cap room next year, so definitely not.

This is why BB drafts d line in early rounds as opposed to receivers or running backs.

Dareus is amazing, an elite NT is impossible to find (thank you Vince). At 15M/year it's a good price. The only problem is the guaranteed money for a player that has character issues

Well fortunately for the Bills, they don't have one.

Well, Muhammed Wilkerson just got too expensive for the Jets.

Hopefully that will put the hurt on their salary cap for a while.

Not real. Jests do not have to pay a franchise QB maybe for a decade or two, the Butt- fumbled to the Broken-Jawed. Some comical shxt will happen to their next first round QB

He is probably one of the top 5 DL in the NFL. Certainly top 10.

However he is no Suh or Watt.

He should get 12M a year cause penetrating DTs like him do change the game that much especailly when they can hold up vs the run.

The devil is in the details here. But I don't think there is a way to structure this where it is good for the Bills.

Some of the guarantee could be injury only which lessens the value of the guarantee

They do have to pay a franchise QB. He just plays CB. Revis gets franchise QB money (especially since he will likely only see 3-4 years of his deal). And they have given big money to other players like Eric Decker.
