If there were to trade Jones is their a CB they could get that be worth it?

I didn't notice Martin in the preseason games like I did Rufus, was he really that impressive?

He had some good practices before the games started but Johnson seemed to pass him when the games started. I think Martin got injured for the last couple of games.

Lafell can be on the practice field working with the Training staff doing rehab work. He can't be participating in the team drills or having an active player throwing balls to him..
Thanks, can u explain limitations on players on IR?

thanks Manx, good info as usual!!!!

Xzavier ****son has just tweeted "cold world". No real surprise but looks like he's a goner.

Not shocking. Very highly recruited high schooler, and a good player at Alabama but never seemed to reach his potential.

Plus, he missed a Sugar Bowl because of team rule violation suspension, and had another suspension for a verbal altercation with an Alabama staff member. You hate to see anyone get cut, but I'm not sure if he sounded like the classic type of player that BB loves.

The Patriots announced Saturday they have released 11 players to get down to the 53-man limit, and placed wide receiver Brandon LaFell on the Reserve/P.U.P. list.

The team cut seven veterans: tight end Asante Cleveland, linebacker Darius Fleming, running back Jonas Gray, cornerback Robert McClain, defensive lineman Zach Moore, wide receiver Jalen Saunders and wide receiverReggie Wayne. The franchise also released one first-year player in defensive back Daxton Swanson, as well as three rookies in defensive back Justin Coleman, linebacker Xzavier ****son and safety Brandon King.

Coleman didn't last long

I think he just lost out in a numbers game. Pretty inevitable when we add six EDGE players before pre-season started (Sheard, Flowers, Grissom, ****son, Johnson, Martin)

Edit: Martin finished on our PS last year so not strictly an addition. Point still holds true though.

Players on IR can not play for the entire year. They can participate in Team meetings, film review and rehab. I believe it is up to the team if they are allowed to be on the sidelines during games. Most teams do not allow them to be there.

Coleman to PS suppose to be fix, some BB tricks&magic
according to Loyko:
Pats obviously want Coleman on the Practice Squad.. by signing him for one day and then waiving it blocks other teams form putting him on PS
