Tyms looked dead the other day and they were practicing around him while he laid on the ground. Carted him off and a few days later he was his smiling self.

I think what the guy you quotes was referring to was some possible knee condition that at least a few temas red-flagged in his pre-draft physical. Could be nothing, court cut his career short. In any case, it's probably why he fell to us in the 3rd in the first place.

I don't know. Him starting every game for 3.5 years aside for 1 due to an ankle injury tells me a lot more than him failing a few teams draft physicals, but that's just my opinion

Ya forgot about that one.

Judge Berman was seen at practice high fiving Brady.

You'd think, yeah. OTOH, Da'Quan Bowers only missed 1 game in his 3 year college career, and the knee concerns that he was red-flagged for proved to be very well-founded. I can see the merits to either argument, just have to trust your medical staff's evaluation one way or the other. My guess would be that the Pats' staff determined that either a) it wasn't a problem, or b) it shouldn't become a problem in the next four years. They wouldn't have spent a third round pick on him otherwise, it's not like they haven't pulled players from their board over less.

Yes, this is what I was referring to. And here I was about to apologize for my post...

@MarkDanielsPJ: I'm hearing Tre' Jackson's situation today was heat related. Source said, "body cramps" and sounds like he'll be fine. Good news.

Phew.

Well that's fortunate if true. Most of the time these cart injuries do not end well..

LOL. Mayock says Berman's got a great motor and likes to play with his hand in the dirt.
While he is getting up there in age, scouts tell me that Judge Berman rated highly in "intangibles" and "decision-making", and is great at noticing when a defense is disguising its intentions.

I wonder when Flowers, Johnson, and Roberts are gonna get back to doing reps? Any injury updates?

Duron Harmon has been quietly improving over the last couple of years, and I thought he was really solid out there when he got time last year.
Half this forum has him on the bubble because they haven't heard much about him the last few weeks. In reality he was probably a last second McCourty decision away from being the starting FS this year. The kid has been good since he stepped foot in Foxboro. Already better than James "Bad Angle" Sanders ever was, and he was a multi-year starter.

No-one is a bigger fan of Harmon than me but I do think he's a little at risk. We extended Chung, drafted a second round safety which, with McCourty means you can pretty much lock three safeties on the roster. Now Harmon, as back up free safety, is very good in that role but that's his only real role on the team. He's a better safety than Tavon Wilson and Nate Ebner but they're more heavily involved in special teams (I believe) so if Jordan Richards can function effectively at the one role Harmon plays (FS), then yes, I think his position is potentially at risk.

Brown had 2 INT's today. He is a solid reliable CB....similar to Fletcher. Neither will be flashy...but they will do their job. It is similar to WR Gibson. Gibson will never WOW anyone...but he is dependable.

yay body cramps!

Belichick needs to bring a bag of McDonald's burgers to keep their sodium level higher.

The Rex Ryan method.
