@SI_PeterKing: Kraft1:

“At no time should the agenda of one team outweigh the collective good of the full 32.”
—Robert Kraft.

That statement is the worst.
I read that and it seems to me that comment is a shot to the OTHER 31 teams in this League...

I ask all the Pats fans to stop going to the game, stop buying the jerseys, don't spend another penny on Patriots.

F Robert Kraft. I'm serious. Unless there is something weird like a handshake agreement where the league drops everything after the season or Kraft finances Jastremski's suit (spelling), F* Robert Kraft.

Unless something like that happens, when Brady retires, I am out.

If I'm sad, I wonder how Brady is. All the hard work he put to overcome his 6h rounder status, 4 SB's, for now being called a cheater and have his legacy tainted over a fraud?

I hope he sues the hell out of Goodell, I don't even care if he is going to play another down anymore, for all I care he can retire, it was a nice ride, thanks Tom, you will always be one of the greats of all time.

Anyone else notice Brady's name never came up?
Kraft stabbed him in the back. Now when Brady wins his appeal NFL observers will say it was a fix set up by Kraft.
Bob Kraft should not be allowed to set foot on the Gillette stadium turf without being deafeningly booed.
Bob Kraft is a traitor.
Tom Brady should demand a trade and Bill Belichick should resign today.

Wrong. Someone needs to tell Kraft he is the owner of one team and the agenda of his team should always outweigh the good of all the teams. I can't believe he actually said that. I find it hard to believe Kraft was ever a true fan before he bought the team. What a joke.

Yeah, the guy tacking it balls deep for the second time in less than a decade is really calling out the rest of the league....

Seriously -- Kraft did a lot right to give himself the best possible negotiating position going into this week, and then he utterly folded. Sad.

Kraft likes being **** on obviously. He just thanked Goodell for it. He's probably sitting at home right now masturbating and choking himself with his tie while reading these comments.

What I want to believe - Bob Kraft and Roger Goodell have a private/quiet (leak free) agreement.
Goodell will remain and hear the Brady appeal and after hearing the Brady appeal will vacate all 4 games in Brady's suspension.
ANYTHING short of that and I'm all done with Robert Kraft.

I think a lot of fans are jumping to assumptions. We don't know what Kraft was facing. We don't know what his lawyers were telling him, and we don't know what the backchannel conversations were telling him.

Perhaps he made a deal to get Goodell to recuse himself from the Brady hearing. Perhaps a lawsuit was viewed as likely to be dismissed (thus furthering the haters ammo).

I do think its unlikely that he would abandon Brady and his team's image or his legacy without really being in a no win situation and I do trust that he made the best decision that was available to him.

People that think he was doing this for money... Lol, I guarentee he's lost more money out of the predictable fan reaction than anything the league has ever done to him.

Billionares don't give a **** about nickel and dime affairs, and they definitely care much more about their legacies than anything else.

Im going to the DMV later this week to turn in my Patriots license plates. 2 weeks ago I was expecting to happily turn them in for new ones with the 4th SB on it. Now I just want them gone.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few
- Robert Kraft

********! Didn't you watch the movies?
- Ghost of Leonard Nimoy

Despite what's tweeted I can see one motivation for this surrender.
Penalty dropped on Brady such that his suit is moot.

WHY would Kraft & league do this?

Simple, they fear and I mean FEAR losing the anti-trust exemption and felt that it would be in play and at risk in the Brady suit.

Brady is on his own and he should fight to the bitter end to make the league pay for damaging his name. I am really pissed. SUE THEIR COLLECTIVE ASSES TOM. SUE THEM!!
