By spouting idiocy Breer is "following along", and will gain more facebook and twitter followers, this is not about the Patriots/Brady but about his need for attention.. the goal of most mediots.

The real scandal is that the refs DIDN"T AS A MATTER OF COURSE CHECK THE PSI OF EACH BALL BEYOND "DID IT FEEL OK TO THE REF" test.

This is the NFL in full CYA mode for their policies and the lax procedures of the refs because until this the NFL didn't really care.

mike silver is even worse

@illegalact huh? I love Brady. But to me the evidence is clear and compelling, and his agent speaks gibberish.

The fact that this buffoon thinks that the Wells report "evidence" is "clear and compelling" and that Yee speaks "gibberish" convinces me that he is too under qualified to be anything more than a token village idiot.

where are the critical thinkers in the media ? first we need a reading comprehension seminar for these idiots. then we need an inflation/pressurization for dummies pamphlet for them( i would say book but they'd never make it thru).

Shirley you jest asking that question?

My biggest problem with the people in the media crying loudest for suspension is that they seem to be invested in the outcome. They seem to want to see Brady get his **** kicked in by the league.

Some have called for suspensions of 6,8 and 16 games. Donte Stallworth, Ray Rice, Greg Hardy level punishment over air and footballs. Apparently in their eyes it's the same as beating a women unconscious and running over a man with your car while drunk. I can draw no other conclusions.

But when you are invested in the outcome you are no longer an observer. Does anyone really believe Mike Silver "Loves Tom Brady" or that Mike Florio is a unbiased in his thoughts when it comes to Brady, and this team, and that bias doesn't show up on his dumb site?

I don't think any one of them could move the needle one little bit when it comes to how we as fans feel about Brady. I stopped caring what other fans and press thought about this team 8 years ago. We've heard it all at this point.

My concern is that that the hue and cry from these people will move the needle when it comes to what the league does. Whether or not it's Goodell or Vincent handing it down, it's fair to wonder how much the mob will have influenced them in their decision when it comes to the punitive phase of this pathetic controversy.

My question for Breer is how, without a 100+ day long investigation does the NFL know "more probably than not" that Rodgers didn't go pump those balls up? The league needs to instigate an investigation into this, immediately!

It's well known throughout the league and (channeling Damien Woody) Rodgers is on the record stating he likes footballs overinflated AND he's and ultimate competitor so, why wouldn't he go to some lengths to ensure the footballs were perfect for him to throw on a bitter cold Wisconsin game day?

Then, while they're at it, ensure such an investigation captures all things like sideline heaters being used, stickum, etc. We're talking about the Integrity of the game! There are 31 other teams depending on Goodell to get this right!

(note that this all sounds ridiculous, except when applied to the Patriots.)

Skippy Silver is a glue-sniffing, hack who writes his columns with, "Hooked on Phonics" at his side.

Your signature is priceless. LOL.

He is wrong on the Rodgers stuff too. It clearly states footballs need to be submitted at between 12.5 - 13.5. Rodgers is illegally submitting footballs at 16psi. Doesn't matter whether the referee has checked them or not or whether they are changed afterwards. To stay within the rules Rodgers needs to submit the balls to the referee at the agreed psi and not 16. Ultimately he is cheating and trying to dupe the officials in the hope they hand check and only test 2 or 3.

I disagree it "clearly states" the balls have to be submitted between 12.5 and 13.5.

Also, if that were true, then NE submitted illegal balls -- Anderson said two were below 12.5 and so he had them pumped past 12.5 by another ref and then Anderson deflated them to 12.5.

2 weeks ago Breer was tweeting that #Framegate has turned away from the Pats and was now on the Colts. Has no sources or a clue.

How can 13 balls be needled to required pressure in 90 seconds. But 2 refs could only check 15 balls in 15 minutes. Ran out of time after only checking 4 Colts balls

Another question that no one answers.

To "protect the shield" they needed to check all of the Colts footballs.. but if you have reached a conclusion, there is not need to follow through on anything.. just make an assumption or take Anderson's word..

They were having each ref measure each ball, plus calling out the readings and writing them down.

If McNally was playing shenanigans I could imagine he had worked things out where he knew (and had previously tested) "needle X for 1 second drops things 0.25 PSI". So then he can stick a needle (no pump) into a ball, take his finger off the end of the needle for one second, pull the needle, and move on to the next ball. A very different process.

I don't think you can take the halftime experience as indicative of what McNally allegedly did.

Can we please take this **** off the sidebar feed? He's relentless with the Deflategate slander by tweeting something new every hour. He's the epitome of what's wrong with sports journalism & social media.

.@Tmoney1197 I don't think the Patriots' 4-month whisper campaign implicating other teams and the league thru certain media helps them here.

Is he seriously accusing the Patriots of working through the media?

"If there’s anything we as a league did incorrectly, we’ll know about it in that report." Roger Goodell

Did anyone see any hint of this in the report in regards to the damaging leaks?
