Giardi: Sources near Pats fear 6-8 game suspension

whatever it is, let's just hope it happens soon so they have plenty of time to fight it and or Jimmy has time to get ready for the season.

They can't go that long without meting out a punishment, much as they might like to.

In any case, if Garoppolo is as smart as the coaches think he is, he's gonna spend the next four months prepping as if he's going to start against Pittsburgh.

At this point there are too many leaks coming out today that indicate 6-8 so I am betting thats what it is.

The problem with that is that "too many leaks" is often one story that gets tweeted and retweeted and expanded upon, etc., rather than different sources saying the same thing.

Heh, that is just amazing. We are not talking about PI calls; there is no flexibility in those rules. A formation is either legal or not.

So nowadays innovating within the rules is considered something bad.

It is apparent this poster is either a troll or chicken little. Just by that statement alone he shows his colors. Pats were playing within the rules, not their fault the Ravens didn't know them. Hell the ref even signaled and said which receiver was ineligible.

I still doubt brady serves any suspension even if he is given one......either way, a lawsuit against the NFL is coming from brady which he WILL win and im not sure the NFL is going to want that.

I have gotten to the point where I hope that whatever discipline is handed down it will cause Brady et al to go nuclear on it and rip apart the entire report in arbitration (or whatever is the appropriate venue). I honestly prefer a scenario with a suspension that eventually puts the entire record straight to a fine that keeps this ******** of a report standing.

I don't think hes behaving like that at all. I think he is playing out with NFL GC and PR the scenario of TB12 vs The NFL. I also think he has 1/2 a brain and in his own way loves the NFL and it's history. With that said, it comes down to this:

Does Roger Goodell really want to tarnish forever the reputation and legacy of one of the greatest players ever that has been the league's poster boy over a "probably"?

We joke here but Goodell is clearly an intelligent man. I find it unfathomable and beyond comprehension that he would do that.
It's too late. He already has.

Are you stupid?

Tom Brady's reputation and legacy is now in the toilet. To most of America he's lower than Barry Bonds.

Are you an a-hole?

America can think one thing. The actual Commissioner can say another publicly.

Whatever else happens, someone needs to put out a hit on Gary Tanguay.
They need to put a hit on 80 percent of the media okay more like 95

That would be ******ed.
Because *****ing and crying works so well..

Look, Woody Johnson might be a moron owner but he knew when to shut up when punishment was on the line... keeping your mouth shut can be the difference in a two to eight week suspension... let the commissioner rule...THEN REACT!! why add flame to the fire...??

That's not my opinion I am saying what people are saying, "Pats always take advantage instead of playing the game. People hate success and when success looks for other advantages to use they get piss and say cheating. Read the papers, listen to the news and listen to NFL Radio or read the other team forums. Collectively they are saying the Pats are cheaters and have been for a long time.

I agree in some ways but we all said early on in this that the leaks where crap and now 4 months later most of them were accurate....well accurate according to Wells ;). And no I dont agree with Wells's report

Well if you are using the Tuck Rule as cheating then you are a f*cking idiot, not sorry you just are.. As for the eligible/ineligible receiver, as Brady said "read the rule book", no rule was broken. Ravens are just butthurt hypocrites and cried to the league because they didn't think of it first. John Harbaugh just simply got out-coached on that one. Then again this in the same team whose #1 pass play is huck it up and try to get a Pass Interference call.

As for you other part it is clear you are a troll or chicken little so your little bearer of bad news rant is idiotic on multiple fronts. Brady not going to the white house has sh*t to do with anything he says he had a commitment, get over it and move on. As for failing to give up his phone, Ted Wells didn't have a warrant and Brady not giving it to him was 100% right not to do, during the Bounty investigation the NFLPA told players not to hand over their cell phones. This f*cktard Wells put texts between Jastremski and his mother in the report, what is the reason for putting those in.

JC can you read, I did not say the tuck rule is cheating I said what others are saying. As for eligible vs inedible I think that was a great move but for CS that is what others are saying. As for The Ravens being butheads, I agree, but many of the other team supported them in their position and complained after this started. Get over yourself, you are so wrong about what is being said all around the country. Keep drinking the kool aid.

Im not as sure anymore but I do think Brady will challenge whatever punishment comes out, problem is the outcome wont matter because in the press and public he will be guilty regardless of the final ruling. Shoot they will think that even if Goody comes out with no punishment. This is the part I really hate. I just dont think Brady is a bad guy like some in the NFL.

I hope NE goes into Indy and destroys them this year, Im mean just absolutely 100% crucifies them. Matter of fact I hope the Pats go on that scorched earth show this year.

It is difficult to have an open and intelligent factorial conversation about what is happening because so many of you are homers and kool aid drinkers and can't accept that things are being said about your team that in their perception is true.

I am off to the first exhibition game until the penalty comes down.

Whatever else happens, someone needs to put out a hit on Gary Tanguay.
I don't care what that desperate little dweeb says. I do care that it gets flashed on the headlines at the top of the page every time he spews his garbage.
