If this is right why in the world didn't Belichick make it happen?
Here is break down of deal with Texans according to Reiss:
... details on the structure of defensive tackle Vince Wilfork's two-year, $9 million deal with the Texans. It includes a $3 million signing bonus, $1 million fully guaranteed base salary for 2015 and a $1 million roster bonus (due March 24). He then has a $4 million base salary for 2016, and it will be interesting to see if there's any debate at that time among Texans management to pick it up.

So cap hit this year is 1.5 + 1 + 1 = 3.5M cap hit and PATs probably could have gotten it down to 3M cap hit.
So you tell me. Why didn't PATS make it happen? Could Vince have wanted more from the PATS than he
was willing to accept from the Texans? Not if the way he has said he feels about the Patriots is true.
Maybe if Vince was on the roster they didn't feel they get their younger players involved as much.
Any ideas?
