Wow, that hurts. You go missing from October to now and all you can say is " beat it, geek."

Has anyone informed you that the Patriots actually won the Super Bowl with all of those sh.tty players? They even won it with that idiot Belichick running the team. And despite the fact that he ruined them with all of his horrible decisions and a piece of trash like Jamie Collins starting for them. Damn, you missed so much it is difficult to know where to start.

I will give it some thought and see if I can put together a timeline outlining of of the winning you missed. I'm sure you will want to be brought completely up to date.

I'm so glad you are safe. I will inform the milk producers so they can take your face off the milk cartons. At least for now, I will tell them to keep it on file though because the Patriots will probably start winning all over again in the fall and you will again disappear and next time even John Walsh won't care.

Not quite. Ninkovich signed his extension during the 3rd week of the 2013 season. While he hasn't posted a new-all time high in sacks (8 sacks a season for the last three seasons), he has played significantly more snaps and made a larger contribution overall.

Their plan is to give him the money now and let him acknowledge he is a long snapper. Then when his contract is up, they will franchise him as a long snapper for a cap hit of $231,000.

I should have expanded - Hopefully they can draft his replacement, and let him walk at the conclusion of his existing contract. I expect his next contract to not be as "reasonable", and I'm not convinced his performance/development to date justifies a "market deal".

I think it's good that the Patriots give Ninkovich a pay raise. Because it shows that if you sign a contract that's good for what you do at that time, and then work your ass off, even if you probably will be past the good contract age when your current contract is up, then the team will reward you anyway. This is a team that isn't afraid to let players go that maybe gets payed more because of their name and past play than because of their current play(Mankins, Wilfork, etc). But it's also a team that rewards players that work their ass off.
