Vince has 2 super bowls and came from a winner

Knighton has 0 super bowls and came from a loser

So I guess you wouldn't want us to sign any players from bad teams?

no just explaining why one guy has more credibility in the free agent market than another.

What ?

I have yet to hear anyone say we decided to add him to the team because he has the most credibility.

For some strange reason your player with credability does not have people banging down his door.

The odds are he will show up at the Patriots door step in time with hat in hand.

The real question is how much would BB pay Wilfork to stay, and would that be enough for Vince.

I love Vince, he's a Patriot legend, but he's not worth that much today.

Signing Bonus

I'd like to clarify that I'd want him back but at cap-friendly money... and that he's probably out the door, but who knows. I'd love for Vince's familiar doublewide presence to be plugging gaps. But if it's not to be, I want Vince back on a 1-day retire-a-Patriot deal, and I want him to have lifetime season tickets provided he promise to tailgate prior to every game. The quality of the parking lot food can only be influenced for the better (not that I tailgate at Gillette... just saying.)

So should we pay Edelman more than Randall Cobb?

A smart man would say know, But I think Jules is worth more to our team then cobb is to the packers.

I find 2 yr 10 mill too much...not sure if BS or not

probably from the colts

grigson is desperate to create the 2010 all pro team

So I guess you wouldn't want us to sign any players from bad teams?

Huh? that's not what i'm saying at all. Vince is coming off a strong bounce back year and a super bowl ring. Knighton is overweight.

Muscle doesn't actually weigh more it is just more dense.

And there is no such thing as cold, just a lack of heat.

Yeah but he is 5 years younger and had a far better season last year.

Call me negative, but I am 290 & I guarantee you Vince is not 325. If I was a carnival weight guesser, I would guess he was 360. People with weight clauses in there contract
"Vince had a weight clause" are not known for their conditioning dedication.

Did he rip his achilles tendon off the year before?

Nose tackles are supposed to carry weight. Vince could not condition himself off season using his leg, cut him some slack on that

So I guess you wouldn't want us to sign any players from bad teams?

Vince is a borderline hall of famer. Pot Roast is a fat s@@t who had one good year. Is that simple enough for you?

Muscle doesn't actually weigh more it is just more dense.

Being more dense is another way of saying that it weighs more (for the space consumed) which was the point being made as he was comparing size of Vince to the size of a friend. You are of course right that 10 pounds of x = 10 pounds of y.

Vince 3 years ago, but not Vince 2016. Vince use to be a top DL.
He is not the same player & I wish him the best, but I also wish he wouldBRetire.

The people hanging onto the memory of Vince's past performance, remind me of the people who didn't want Varitek to
Leave the RedSox, despite his age and lack of production at the plate.
If I had a nickle for every time I heard "he calls a great game", I could retire.

He retired & the year after that, we won the World Series.
omg you are still on the veritek thing. let it go already.

Terrance Knighton signing for $4 million makes me think this deal may be bull or from teams he doesnt want to sign with.
