KRAFT DEFENDS THE TEAM!

This is there a link somewhere? I HAVE TO SEE THIS!

"Science" has been on both sides of this issue.

Science is only on one side. When people have made quick & lazy calculations based on huge approximations without considering what is physically going on, they have found the Patriots cheaters. When people have looked at it thoughtfully, or performed an experiment, they have exonerated the Pats. The former is not science, the latter is.

Finally Krafty...it was about time but he did a good job. United front Patriots vs the world....

Not sure exactly what you mean, but Pats side has shown examples and experiments , while the others just talk and beliefs. AS for the Colts balls, well I guess we don't know what their psi was to begin with.

It's pretty obvious what I mean, and I'm not going to get into a battle of the supposed experts. I'm just pointing out that there's been division among the geeks on this matter, so we shouldn't be *****ing if laymen are struggling with it. Any vitriol should be aimed at the leakers inside the NFL offices, and at the instigators, if there were any.

I wonder if the leak about the about the locker room attendant was the final straw for Kraft. I have to give Kraft credit. I figured he would stay out of the fight for the good of the league.

Now he has backed Goodell into a corner by forcing him to either produce the goods against the Pats or apologize with no punishment. Anything less and his biggest ally will turn on him. Unfortunately, the League is very unlikely to do the former and it is going to be a huge blow to Goodell if he does the latter because the media and non-Pats fans are out for blood.

I started a thread a few days ago stating the Belichick press conference created a nightmare situation for Goodell. I was wrong. This press conference did. Goodell is now screwed no matter what he does. If I was him, I would look to see if he can prove the Colts set the Pats up and make them the sacrificial lambs.
In theory the NFL wont apologize for doing an investigation. They should however for the leaks. And we cna thank JimIrsay for starting that otherwise I wonder if this wouldve become such a big deal with Ted Wells etc involved.

About time.

Goebbels would be proud.

It will be interesting to hear Felger and Mazz tomorrow:

Last week their stance was: "You know Belichick really didn't really stand up for himself. I don't know if I believe him"

Today it was: "Belichick was awesome, but since Bob Kraft has not defended him it is clear he is guilty"

Tomorrow it will be: "Sure, Kraft really made a strong statement in support of Belichick and Brady, but where is the locker room attendant and why isn't he talking?"

You're probably right, but that just means they are ignorant.

I have to think Monday morning the first thing Belichick did was watch that video and grill the ball handlers and attendants. They say the attendant in question was questioned, so the Patriots had to have know days ago he was a "person of interest." It still proves nothing, but unfortunately this is not a court of law where you're presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The Patriots are expected to have to explain everything. But I can't think all three of them would forcefully deny it if there was anything up, and knowing the NFL was looking at the ball boy.

They will call out kraft on something or have CHB on to vent. Only our local media will flame this more.

I hope the next meeting between Goodell and Kraft goes something like this glorious scene of De Niro in The Untouchables

I prefer Connery's scene:

You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! And that's how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I'm offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?

Essentially, it's "ALL IN" by the Patriots! (ala, poker's Texas Holdem)
