Edelman OUT vs. Jets

Good. As I brought up earlier this week, I think getting healthy for the playoffs is good:

We have enough depth on offense and WR. I'd also love to see Vereen get some rest and get his ankle back to where he can actually run effectively, as was the case earlier i the care. Time to find out if James White has anything to offer.

Absolutely agree about White. Hope he is active tmw and gets a few snaps.

At least we know Browner made the trip in style:

Sorry if I missed it, but how did Edelman get his concussion?

Anyone waiting for Tyms to come up big better not be waiting under water. I'll believe it when I see it. The Adam Seward of receivers. This game is going to be a *****...

bad news.
we have the worst wr core in the league. amendola, tyms, and lafell.

No. They are not the worst.

LaFell is the #3 option in the offense and has 63 catches for 819 yards. Between Tynes, Amendola and Gronk & Wright splitting out they are fine.

tommy deserves a raise for this ****. we'll be pass heavy tomorrow since it's hard to run against the jets front. maybe a lot of two TE sets!! or, just target gronk 20 times!!:D

So be it.

Nope.

First off you're an idiot for mentioning LaFell with Amendola and Tyms.

Secondly I guess you are forgetting Gronk is part of the "receiving" core. Ya he might be a TE but last thing I knew he caught passes.

Thirdly Amendola and Tyms are like the 6th and 8th options in the passing offense based on targets this season.

I am somewhat excited to see what an Edelmanless offense looks like. I'm hoping it doesn't turn into a throw the ball to Gronk 30 times show.

Diddnt a certain WR pretty much win us the game the last time VS the Jets? Hate the guy all you want but I am pulling for him and I am sure he will be fine if he is given targets.

Ya was about to post that.

I also recall a certain WR pretty much winning the game in the season opener against the Bills last year. Which was the last time that receiver was healthy and starting in the slot.

It'll be interesting to see what Amendola looks like this time around.

Even if Edelman and Arrington play week 17 they'll have 2/3 weeks off so it will give them an opportunity to get as close to 100% as any NFL player is at this point in the season.

I think it is a great opportunity for him. However if he does not do well tomorrow with Edelman out the excuses for Amendola are null. I hope he does well and we win the game. I think we will be ok either way though.

Be careful what you wish far. Our WR depth is going to be test. ITs good he is heing held out but does make our task tougher. JMcD has done a lot of smoke and mirrors around Gronk and Edelman.
