Alleged collusion between the Pats and Dr. Gill?

Yup. Just discussed it on ESPN.

They've been FESPN to me for years now. The only time I watch anything on that network is when the Patriots are playing on it. Otherwise, they can kiss my grits.

That's what I'm hoping for! I'm hoping the Patriots become the most hated team in the history of American professional sports. Hopefully, they're already there.

Is there a way of checking team logo TP sales figures? :p

Is it just me, or does all this just seem to be a rehashing of old news?

I guess the opportunity for a 'tsk, tsk' story and some sort of implied guilt still sells.

NFLPA President DeMaurice Smith said he couldn’€™t discuss the details of the grievance, the related hearing or the terms of the eventual settlement but did express concern over the Patriots’€™ internal communication cited in the letter.

“It makes serious allegations about the integrity and independence of a team doctor providing medical care to a player,’€ Smith told the paper. “The allegations would suggest behavior that is completely inappropriate. I will look forward to seeing what the league intends to do as far as investigating this pursuant to their personal conduct policy.”

When I think of DeMaurice Smith, two words immediately come to mind; inept and incompetent.
Unfortunately the same two words come to mind with Goodell, who owes the NFLPA a favor or six after the handling of the new conduct policy. Don't be surprised if we get railroaded again. If we do get run over by the bus, you can count on Kraft commending Goodell's handling of the situation...

-Fanene doesn't disclose injury to team
-Team cuts Fanene
-Tries to recoup signing bonus
-NFLPA files grievance seeking the Pats get rid of Gill
-Pats and Fanene settle, Fanene keeps $2.5m of the $3.2m signing bonus
-Gill leaves the Patriots

So the player keeps money and the NFLPA got what they wanted and all this stuff had already come to light during the case to recoup the signing bonus.

Guess Demaurice Smith has to appear that he has some bite with all that barking he does even if he doesn't have any teeth.

Nope, there are still a few ahead of them. You know, the teams that were successful for long periods of time on multiple occasions and Man U. :)
