Browners penalties..i know 1 wasn't his fault on the INT..are somewhat getting concerning..but it's just his style..so i think we will see this as long as he's in a pats uniform

His facemask penalty was flat out bad. Gotta be smarter. But most of his other ones are really questionable.

The offensive line was concerning. Solder was the most glaring problem tonight. He got abused too many times, especially by those damn spin moves. Brady managed to avoid pressure and get the ball off before being hit. Glad he didn't take many sacks (just one I think).

As was pointed out, the biggest reason that Solder had issues was that he had his head jacked back by Ingram at least twice that I saw. Others mentioned that Freeney also did it. Manx claims that Solder got his hand into Ingram's grill twice, but I didn't see those.

Once the hands stopped getting high into Solder's face, he was good and kept Brady clean. Connolly and Wendell, though, has issues with Liuget and Ingram after SD moved Ingram from the RDE spot to the left side of the line.

So...Is Mayo that indispensable to the defense? They've played the bulk of two seasons without him and seem to be doing okay. What is his future with the Pats do you think?

There's a huge difference between doing okay and doing fantastic. Mayo brings a lot to the Pats in terms of leadership both on and off the field.

I'm nervous about the Dolphins game

Our o-line is playing pretty bad right now and the Dolphins gave us huge problems in week 1

I know a lot has changed since then (Gronk at 100%, more Tim Wright, Stork at Center, no Devey) but I'm still worried

Tannehill got sacked 6 times today. My guess is the Dolphins are more nervous about coming to Foxboro than you are.

Mayo is gonna have to restructure because we need the cash. He may do so if the Pats handle it right.

I only have two words to say before I go to sleep.

Road Kill.

Every time Ayers makes an impact play.. which is pretty much every single game since traded so far. Titans fans took one step closer to the ledge.

I understand the excitement the players/coaches are feeling but does anyone else find them way more excited about this win than you'd expect ?
Very similar to the 2006 AFC Div game. I think they feel they won a hairy one which couldve gone either way. Dont think we have had a win like this other than the jet game.

Why do you think that Mayo is going to have to restructure? The Pats are carrying something ridiculous like $7-8M into next year and the cap is said to be $140M with the Pats at $131M. Revis is the one who will need restructuring more than Mayo..

The big hits are going to be from the Jones and Hightower 5th year option pick-ups..

Solder had a rough night

Kraft said today that we will be carrying from $1M-$1.5M into next year. As Miguel has pointed out on many occasions, there are NTLBE incentives that will affect the carryover.

Also, usually when many of use the word restructure, we mean that the player has agreed to convert salary to bonus money saving current year cap money (a no-brainer with no change in compensation). You use the word to mean a reduction in compensation from an existing contract.

Revis is very likely to sign a new deal. That would involve tearing up the existing deal. Of course, Revis is under no pressure to sign a contract for anything less than the market price.

IMHO, Mayo is much more likely to reduce his contracted salary, although I would expect his total 2015 cash to be as much as the salary under the current contract.

Pats need to improve on their red zone scoring before the playoffs.

Off the top of my head, you're wrong, in that they've been good, and this game was an aberration.

I don't hate the Chargers they are a likeable team and I do like McCoy.
To Chris Collinsworth saying Mcdaniels will be a head coach again I don't see it I see him taking over here one day and being very comfortable.
I see the offense struggling and the play calls on offense have been very transparent. I don't see a team backing the truck up to Josh I think a head coach in this league should be Greg Williams that D defense is really playing ball.

Agree with the first sentence, but took everything in my power not to throw a dislike at the rest.

Revis is already signed for next year. You mean restructure. And I believe that they have to wait until the season is over to do anything.

Ayers, Casillas, and Branch should be relatively easy re-signs. So should Develin, Vereen, Chung, Cannon, and Gostkowski.

Supposedly the Pats and McCourty are really close so they won't have to tag him..

I'm dubious about Cannon. He might go somewhere where he has a better chance to start.
