It was moved back to the front page TWELVE days before you posted to it. You didn't re-enter soon once it come back on.

You didn't even enter the Football Forum during that 12 day period. But you posted plenty on this website, just hiding in other forums. Let's face it, you didn't want to hear about.

And you know something, that's OK. I have done the same thing in the past.

But don't try to pass it off as "Oh, I didn't know about it, becuase it has been moved off the front page". when you DID know about it then, and did follow it to another forum to post on it after it was moved.

You are correct sorry it devolved that way. I'm done. Came back and was happy to state that the the death of the Pats was premature.And I looked completely wrong today on my accurate concerns then.
Hopefully my original premise is not correct.And at this time certainly seems it isn't.
But the original premise of the Pats not spending enough will always come up especially if they are not what we are use too.

I'm with you except for the last line.

"If they are not what we are used to" - - the NFL has 32 teams, at some point, it's going to happen that they do not win at least 10 games every single year. That won't be the fault of the NE Patriots if they have a non-10 win season. The NFL is built to break that. The fact that they have done it 12 seasons in a row is incredible. The fans would be unbelievably spoiled brats if that streak is broken and they ***** and moan. It's like blaming a 90 year old person for dying. What does one expect?

I'm with you all the way. But you got to admit the question of their spending will come up if they fall to .500 or a little above. I really want Tom to get one more ring and you have to admit they didn't look like SB contenders for the first month.It looked like a wasted year.So I'm saying WTF! I'm amazed at the turnaround, I really think (health pending) that they can win it all right now. Realistically if they can get a championship every 5-10 I'm perfectly happy.

But the point is that there is no question of their spending. They spend all of their money. You just don't understand how they spend it. That doesn't make it a question, it means that you are reacting to and criticizing something that you simply do not understand.
At the point this franchise declines, there will be plenty of reasons to point to, but even then spending will not be one of them unless they completely change the way they have operated for the last 15 years.

That might very well be. Nobody really knows what the spending is. I only go by what I hear on radio and print, that they are under the cap.
So anytime you spend under the cap it will always lend itself to the question.Why? When your hall of fame QB is slammed to the ground and your team is 2-2.
I don't see the Pats being appreciably worse as long as BB is here.
As far as being a fair weather fan I drove 75 miles to sit through this.

Well thats my point. If you had bothered to get facts you would realize that the only reason they are under the cap is that they have bonusses that will be earned in this years contracts that aren't counted against the cap yet.
