However, when you repeatedly write stuff like "As far as i was concerned the thread was dead and I wasn't going to respond to it anyway it because it was moved." when you indeed DID posted on October 30th when it was in the Practice Squad Forum - - - and actually COMPLAINED ABOUT IT HAVING BEEN MOVED THERE - - then you are simply exposing yourself not just as a liar, but as a very stupid one indeed.
Jesus you must do this for a living Sherlock Holmes!!!!
Thanks for making my point AGAIN!!!!
I complained and stopped posting up until it was moved back to the main page!!
What is wrong with you????

I guess you aren't happy with the pound of flesh you received.

Maybe you should shoulder some of the blame for this thread turning into a long trip down a sewer. I haven't seen this many negative posts stirred up about one person since Rex Ryan joined the Jets with both lips blazing.

Not with the opinion. We all are wrong plenty of times.

It's with the lying about not knowing that the thread was active on the main page. He knew.

Patradomous
12 Days from 10/24-11/5 = 37 posts

12 days 11/5- 11/17 = 0 posts

'Oh, I didn't know the thread was ongoing because it was moved off the page'.

10/30/14 - a FULL day after being moved off the page he miraculously found it and did indeed post in it.

Opinions are fine, many are wrong I have done it many times for sure. But out and out lying to other posters is going to be met with contempt. It is what it is.

It was moved back to the front page TWELVE days before you posted to it. You didn't re-enter soon once it come back on.

You didn't even enter the Football Forum during that 12 day period. But you posted plenty on this website, just hiding in other forums. Let's face it, you didn't want to hear about.

And you know something, that's OK. I have done the same thing in the past.

But don't try to pass it off as "Oh, I didn't know about it, becuase it has been moved off the front page". when you DID know about it then, and did follow it to another forum to post on it after it was moved.

It's a very entertaining thread.

AND WHAT WAS THE CONTENT I POSTED WHEN I MIRACULOUSLY FOUND IT?????
You know something you work like a son of bick at this and your'e still very easy.
Keep doing your homework, while I surf with a cup of coffee.

Post #504 - easy to find.

"You know something you work like a son of bick at this and your'e still very easy."

Can I get a translation?

Deflecting again?
By the way out of 3400 post, I have about 3000 go to the poli forum I've gone six months at a time without posting in the football forum.
12 days ain't nothing. And attacking my character and calling me a liar on what you think may have happened to make a really immaterial point is beyond silly.

I'm done on this subject. Be well.

I am not claiming that I couldn't find the thread. I was pissed that it was moved to a different forum and stated as much to Ian in a post. Maybe he deleted it.
Once I saw it was moved back to front and center. That when I posted my mea culpa.
I mean what the f do want?? Bone Marrow???

So what the F is your point???
Did I post a mea culpa or didn't I???

Only if you call "I am not apologizing to anyone for a legitimate opinion." a MEA CULPA.

And you went on to say they are a billion dollar franchise with a lousy OL yady yady yada.

Saying you are wrong but then saying you were actually right at the time is not a mea culpa, and telling us all how happy you are is simply crap. The OP was complete and total garbage that looked like it was written by a five year old having the world's biggest temper tantrum, now you simply look like you found your pacifier and will throw another tantrum if they falter at any point down the road. And your continued comments about how your detractors are just "footy pajama wearers" demonstrates without a doubt that you really haven't learned anything from the time you posted your crybaby bullsh.t. The truth of the matter is that the crybabies, like yourself are wrong abbout belichick and this team year in and year out but still give up on them at the first sign of difficulty, whereas the so called "footy pajama wearers" who stick with them are right year after year after year, and the bottom line is that it really is time for you and the rest of the crybabies and trolls to shut your pieholes for a long long time.

OP - FYI that I mean no malice or disrespect; just pointing out that the current discussions in this thread seem to have no connection to your original post. Maybe consider creating a new thread if you are that convinced that your original premise is still correct in your opinion?

You are correct sorry it devolved that way. I'm done. Came back and was happy to state that the the death of the Pats was premature. And I looked completely wrong today on my accurate concerns then.
Hopefully my original premise is not correct. And at this time certainly seems it isn't.
But the original premise of the Pats not spending enough will always come up especially if they are not what we are use too.

Cmon, it has to be easy to miss quote alerts when your alert system is completely drowning in dislikes.

Good.

I'm with you except for the last line.

"If they are not what we are used to" - - the NFL has 32 teams, at some point, it's going to happen that they do not win at least 10 games every single year. That won't be the fault of the NE Patriots if they have a non-10 win season. The NFL is built to break that. The fact that they have done it 12 seasons in a row is incredible. The fans would be unbelievably spoiled brats if that streak is broken and they ***** and moan. It's like blaming a 90 year old person for dying. What does one expect?

Just my opinion.

I'm with you all the way. But you got to admit the question of their spending will come up if they fall to .500 or a little above. I really want Tom to get one more ring and you have to admit they didn't look like SB contenders for the first month. It looked like a wasted year.So I'm saying WTF! I'm amazed at the turnaround, I really think (health pending) that they can win it all right now. Realistically if they can get a championship every 5-10 I'm perfectly happy.
Tom needs one more ring to blow the Manning argument out of the water. Not that we need convincing.

But the point is that there is no question of their spending. They spend all of their money. You just don't understand how they spend it. That doesn't make it a question, it means that you are reacting to and criticizing something that you simply do not understand.
At the point this franchise declines, there will be plenty of reasons to point to, but even then spending will not be one of them unless they completely change the way they have operated for the last 15 years.

That might very well be. Nobody really knows what the spending is. I only go by what I hear on radio and print, that they are under the cap.
So anytime you spend under the cap it will always lend itself to the question. Why? When your hall of fame QB is slammed to the ground and your team is 2-2.
I don't see the Pats being appreciably worse as long as BB is here.
As far as being a fair weather fan I drove 75 miles to sit through this.
Worst weather game I ever was in. Took me a week to warm up.My first year as a season ticket holder.
PRO FOOTBALL; Jets Win (Splish) on First Shutout in 11 Years (Splash)
BY TIMOTHY W. SMITH,
Published: November 29, 1993

The weather conditions were the kind you might find in June during the Asian monsoon season, not during November in New England. The rain came horizontally, driven by a 35 mile-per-hour wind that gusted to 68 m.p.h. It seemed to get worse when the Jets' offense touched the ball.

"The weather was just brutal," said Jets Coach Bruce Coslet.

It was 63 degrees, but it was not a great day for football. It wasn't even a good day to be a duck. Splashing around in the sloppy mud at Foxboro Stadium, which filled to 42,810 at game time and emptied to about 25,000 at halftime, the Jets prevailed over Mother Nature and a tenacious Patriots team, winning by 6-0 and getting their first shutout in 11 years.

Well that certainly isn't true. Spending is right out in the open.

Well thats my point. If you had bothered to get facts you would realize that the only reason they are under the cap is that they have bonusses that will be earned in this years contracts that aren't counted against the cap yet.

I don't know what that means. I didn't call you a fair weather fan just one that had a hissy fit based on ignorance. Going to games doesn't make you more or less of a fan.

I beg your pardon. You don't know what the hell it is either. The only info thats out is done by the Patriot bean counters. As far as the public goes its on a need to know basis. Their version.

Again you show your ignorance.
