That Fouth Rounder for the Bucks is going to be at the very Top of the Round.

Boy, Barron would've looked good next to McCourty. Especially at that price.

Is he really all that good or is his pre-draft reputation greater than his play. The guy is a top 10 pick in 2012 and is traded away for two third day picks this year. Either the Bucs are stupid or he is not all that good. I don't watch enough Bucs game to know myself, but I have haven't heard much about this guy since he was drafted.

Could've said the same things about Talib before he was traded.

jonathan-casillas sounds like a poor mans Jamie Collins BB have done well in veteran Trades so I wont knock it until I see the product.
Probably right. I'd like to think of him as a poor man's Shazier. Curran says they flipped late round picks, so virtually no cost.

At 6'1" and 227 pounds, Casillas is a good fit as an inside or weakside linebacker in the Patriots defense. For the Buccaneers, Casillas was playing mainly the strongside linebacker position, but he was projected to be the New Orleans Saints' starting weakside linebacker in 2010, following the departure of then-starter Scott Shanle, before he suffered a season-ending foot injury.

Maybe these players are good but the tampa coaching staff sucks....

Yeah, but Talib showed flashes including a solid rookie year. His problems were mostly injury related. I can't remember Barron ever being good.

a sub-package DE and a special teamer, a replacement for Buchanan

This was not the major player we wanted, but this does hop our depth.

He's better than Skinner.....but that's not saying much. Nothing more than a 7th going to TB, I bet. If it's a sixth, we get a 7th back...lol...the dude is JAG.

Casillas goes back to NO. A very cursory amount of digging uncovered a few comments from fans who thought he was going to be a good one.

Talib had injury issues and a reputation as an *******. He was probably the second best defensive back in football besides Revis in 2010. Not remotely the same thing. Barron hasn't done anything since he entered the league.

He's a solid depth player. Not amazing, not bad. He's basically Dane Fletcher 2.0 but more athletic. Good pickup but i wanted a more impact player.

Now this is big time revisionist history. No one ever regarded Talib as an All-Pro level player in TB.

Sounds like we're flipping late round picks.

Curran's saying, not surprisingly, we're flipping late round picks. Much like the Ayers deal I image.

Checked out a Bucs forum and the word Bust is being used for Barron.

Nobody seems to care about losing Casillas.

Just talked to my friend who is a major Bucs homer and he said Casillas is versatile and play outside, rush passer and even is athletic enough to play strong safety. Says hes got good speed.

If he's any good in coverage then he might have been brought in to help solidify the middle of the pass defense.
