Do you think Monday night will be on the refs minds at all? Will we get favoured a bit?

Not against the league's poster boy.

LOL!

The Peyton Manning yellow flag parade will be out in force, expect a ton of ticky tack and outright phantom calls against the Pats defense.

Really, I don't want a call, in either direction.

I just want a correct interpretation based on sound judgement with good communication among refs. That's it.

I don't want a call.

It's like when I am watching an NHL game, a lot of games I never notice the refs....that is what you want.

A good competitive game without the bullsh1t drama of the refs...

Hell no. The only thing that ensures bad calls more than playing Joe Flacco is playing Peyton Manning.

Get the calls? How about they just make the right calls and not act like a bunch of A-holes out there afraid to do what's right.

Don't count on the officials at all. If anything, it looks like Goodell passed out a secret memo to the officials, squeeze the Pats whenever you get a chance, especially if it might cause them to lose.

If the NFL wanted any team to win, and I'm not saying I believe in conspiracy theories, it would be the Peyton Manning led Broncos. They are grabbing all the headlines this season.

who cares about the refs???

the pats need to hammer away at the denver defense, and hit manning a couple of times early. forcing the broncos into max protect schemes reduces the number of targets manning will have to throw to

Haven't gotten any calls vs the golden boy since like 2004. Don't see why that would change now.

That ship has sailed.

NO ONE gets calls when they play LORD MANNING. You should know this by now.
If our Defense even looks at him wrong, the flags will fly. His wide receivers will run free. Might as well give the secondary the night off. They will get flagged for just standing next to LORD MANNING'S wide receivers.

We'll be home, so maybe. I'm sure there will be a few well timed PI calls against us late, though.

I would just like to see a bunch of this:

dt.common.streams.StreamServer.cls

Could go either way.

denver has had 5 games where they had more penalties and 5 games where the other team had more penalties.

Twice denver has had games of 12 or more penalties and 100+ penalty yards. They were both away games

13 penalties for 132 yards against the the giants and 12 penalties for 103 yards against the colts.

While in those two games the giants had 4 penalties for 16 yards and the colts had 6 penalties for 52 yards.

redskins only had 1 penalty for 5 yards called against them in denver.

Yes. Im glad you brought this up. Just watch, there will be a "make up" call for the Panther game.

Also, I have a feeling that BB will break out the cut off Hoodie as a FU to Goodell. He almost went there for the 2nd half of the Panthers game.

With this must win game, everything is fair game.

Its so unfair. Whenever we play a Manning led team we have to play the refs also. Why does he get such preferential treatment? It makes me laugh when people think that Brady gets special treatment above other QB's.

This has to be our cleanest and smartest game of the season!

It's kinda funny to see everyone in this thread talking about Manning the way the rest of the league talks about Brady.

Also, the only penalty that could have been called would have been defensive holding. It would have been a 5 yard penalty. If the game clock was not at zero, I believe the flag wouldn't have been picked up.

I think it would be PI, he interfered with gronk going for the ball. And we have been getting calls since 1998, LOL. Just LOL, thanks for making my night!

I'd like Belichick to address that in his pregame pep talk. Look boys, we're playing the refs as well as the opposing team so we can't afford stupid penalties or mistakes, we have to be as perfect as possible and get as big a lead as possible to take it out of the hands of the refs. And Ridley, hang on to the damn ball!
