my sig......., but I also like the comment to Tom Jackson, GFY

Fu*k you Mason

Here's a few that are uttered every week:

We were lucky to make a few more plays than they did (or, after a loss, they were able to make a few more plays than we were).

We did some good things but we still have a lot to work on.

I'm proud of the way our guys played out there today. (or after a loss, "Gotta play better, gotta execute better, gotta coach better.")

It is what it is.

We'll savor this one for a few hours but then it's on to _____ (next week's opponent).

I only talk about the players on our team.

I crack up every time BB steps to the podium after a game because I feel like I (or anyone on here) could do his press conference for him and no one would notice. Rock on BB!!

"we're moving on to______"

"learn from your mistakes"

"stay in the present, don't look too far ahead"

"d%#*!@t"

"take it one week at a time"

"gotta get ready for next week"

"players are our most important asset"

The local media makes me sick, WEEi with BB was awful this week, why do they bother asking him to throw a player like Ocho or anyone else under the bus and ask for his view on the silly coaches fight over the weekend. It always goes the same, BB gets annoyed and just wants to get out of there, because the dimwits in the media want to talk football as a side note.

BB loves to talk straight football when an interviewer is asking good questions. when are they gonna learn he doesn't wanna contribute to the nonsense and no one wants to here it. or do they? lol

"he's here because he's a contributer if he wasn't a contributer he wouldn't be here, that goes for every player" (in regards to Ocho) basically F U

Had to get that off my chest:cool:

"Stats are for losers"

"Mason, just shut the F#CK up. Did you see the scoreboard?"

"He is on a day-to-day-basis. He is working hard everyday to get better."

Got to block better, move the ball, better, play better defense, coach better

"If you ain't first, you're last"

He had one the other day that killed me...

"Look, I'm not trying to solve the world's problems, I'm just trying to coach a football team."

Here's the whole exchange I think it was Curran who was being a DB:

Q: I do want to ask about how things have changed. You mentioned on the radio the other day about the postgame handshake and the shelf life of very innocuous stories. How has the whole dynamic changed media-wise, even from the ‘80s when you were with the Giants?

BB: We don't have time for a long answer like that. I don't know. Look, it's the way of the world - we're all living in it.

Q: Does the true football fan suffer sometimes?

BB: I don't know, you'd have to ask them. I don't know. Look, I'm not here to solve the world's problems. I'm just trying to coach a football team and see if we can get ready and beat Pittsburgh and have a couple productive days on the bye week. Those philosophical questions probably need to go to a much higher plane than the one I'm on. With all due respect, I just can't - you're asking more than I have.

I give all credit to'da players. They took on & met ALL new comers! Quote Unquote or something like that but don't quote me lol

After the Patriots upset the Chargers in 2006 Playoffs and LT was being a crybaby about stomping on the field situation and BB made a comment that is pretty common: "I bet he wishes they made more plays." Not sure if I am parafrasing or not, couldn't find the exact quote on google.

I've always had a soft spot for my signature but another personal favorite I couldn't find goes something like this:

"What am I going to do with a defender who can't tackle...seriously?"

 BB's the best, he's the King of Disdain.

I know it's been mentioned on here a few times, but that lip smackin, throat clearin thing is driving me nuts. I love em', but when I'm watching his pressers on the computer, my girls always asking "whats that smacking sound" LOL...But :D:itsok:
