For a guy who has never won anything, Cromartie needs to shut his yap. Same for every member of a football franchise that has yet to win anything in the last 40 plus years.

Same here. I was rooting for the Colts hard last week. This week of trash talking will be worth it, though, if the Pats absolutely bury the Jets.

It was brought up, kidding or taken too seriously or not, the NFL will look into it.

Taunting is how you get a bounty put on your head. Rex Ryan's father put a bounty on a kicker once.

Games are long. Things move fast. If there is no evidence of Brady pointing, then Cromartie is being a jerk without a point. If Brady has pointed in the past at defenses and appears to have taunted them, then Cromartie is being a jerk with a point. Because he's a jerk doesn't mean he doesn't have a point if there is substance to it. One wrong doesn't wash the other away.

Coach Belichick preaches mistake free football, that also means avoiding dumb penalties. It's not worth 15 yards to me if I was a Bengals fan to see Ocho Cinco do a celebration. It's not worth 15 yards to me if Brady gets caught doing something he doesn't need to do during the game.

Do Cromartie and Ryan come off sounding like crybabies? Yes, for sure, in my book. But it doesn't mean there isn't a possible tactical advantage in play.

reminds me of how espn made rivers out to be the bad guy when he was shouting "wtg baby" to his defenders and looking at jay cutler

and how espn turned that into "he was calling jay cutler a baby"

and how the colts fans were cheering when rivers got injured and he said "i'll be back" to them...and somehow rivers got vilified in that situation....

Personally, I've never seen it either and when I do it will be deemed the 8th Wonder of the World.

Maybe Tom was looking at their sideline to make sure he new where Sal Alosi was so that he could be sure to avoid being tripped.

So let me get this straight. Brady is not allowed to get excited when he throws a TD and he certainly shouldn't look near the opposing bench. Is that right?
If he flipped them the bird I could see that as being something, but to look at the bench? Really? I heard a lot about pointing at the bench also, but this clip doesn't show that either.
I know Tom won't do this because he is more interested in preparing for the game, but I wish he would look up the definition of taunting the bench and come up with a celebration that goes right up to the line without crossing it after EVERY TD. Maybe he could do a Jets style 'fly by' of the bench?
I can't wait for this game. If I had the option of being put in a medically induced coma until Sunday at 8 am I'd take it.

Agreed. Who gives a damn? I didn't see the Jets sidelines flipping out when Braylon Edwards was taunting Darius Butler in Week 2.
