Ryan: Brady was looking at sideline, should be penalized

This is getting ridiculous. The NY media is going to crucify him if the Jets don't win.

This HAS to be a plan to get into Brady's head. The Jetsies know they cannot beat Brady mano a mano. He will shred them. So next option is to get in his head and hope he gets emotional and "forces" balls to certain receivers based on these comments and possibly make mistakes. That is their only way to have a chance. Otherwise they will lose and lose big.

It is defintely orchestrated and Ryan is leading the pack. Never seen anything this desperate before. What do these guys want? They want Brady to be nice to them? They can dish it out big time but they don't like it when they get thrashed on the field? They want the PATS to lie down and let them win. Ain't gonna happen.

Hope Brady and Co. takes out the trash once and for all for the sake of the NFL and the entire world.

I'm afraid you are giving Wrecks and his Green Beans too much credit. This has not been orchestrated. They are just being their weird, undisciplined selves and are coming unglued.

Me too, before all this i was thinking that the pats got all they're pent up anger out in that 45-3 curb stomping. But after Jabba and Octodad started talking i can see another beat down coming.

Me three. Once again, I overestimated the idea that R-R-R-R Rexy and the Jets would, you know, actually LEARN their lesson from the last time around and just lay low with all the hot air and just...well, SHUT UP already!

But "intelligence" and "Jets" do not belong in the same sentence, apparently. Not going to make that mistake again. We could do this 50 times in a row to them and each time they'll STILL talk c*** coming out of their ears.

Good grief...:bricks:

UGG! Sanchez gets special cold-weather helmet

December 18, 2009 ASSOCIATED PRESS
Mark Sanchez will wear a special cold-weather helmet to play his first career game in temperatures under 40 degrees.

“We put some of the UGG boot stuff in his helmet, so he’s going to be warmer,” Rex Ryan said, referring to the wool-lined footwear. “I’m not kidding. Look at his helmet. He’s got some of that in there..."

Seriously, this is what it has come to:

"Commissioner, Tommy's looking at meeee! Make him STOP!!!"

Really? From the head coach of a NFL team? Funny, I can't picture Ditka, Reeves, Coughlin, Parcells, Noll, Levy, etc, ever saying something like this. I don't even think Buddy Ryan would have whined like this.

If there is any justice and decency in this world, the Patriots will win on Sunday. Because having to listen to Rex and Company gloat and be one win away from a Super Bowl will be unbearable.

The sad thing is, even if the Jets lose on Sunday, Ryan isn't going to shut up. He's going to rationalize the loss, claim the Jets were better, and declare his team the favorite to win SB 46.

I wonder if he knows that TFB is the official male spokesman for UGG? Talk about REALLY getting into your opponent's headgear!

:rocker:

From working in NYC for two years, I can see this going very badly for Rex sunday night. They may ask him to not come home on the team bus amd say your on your own.

it will be ugly..

Thank god this guy doesn't put half as much effort into coaching as he does talking, for if he did we would get blown out every time.

Do you guys put everything that he says under a microscope? You guys act just like females.

Why do douchebags like you make screen names on opposing teams (that you pretend to hate) message boards? Can your life get any more pathetic. Cute username by the way

Shouldnt Rex be working on figuring out how to not lose 45-3 instead of crying about how the team celebrated 6 of those 45?

Ryan has diarrhea of the mouth. Someone call the Waaaaaaaaambulance for him.

Seriously though, you spend the week trying to tear into Brady and the team and you are going to complain when they throw it back on the field?

Exactly, kind of the "school yard bully" type scenario. You know the type, they poke and provoke the other kids, and then when one punches them square in the face, and bloodies their nose, "they run home and cry to Momma". I was ticked earlier about all this, but it is just getting utterly sad and pitiful to watch. An NFL coach whining over something like this, after shooting his mouth off for a whole week? I am really beginning to think this one is over before it ever starts. This false bravado is not fooling anyone, and is really starting to come off as a coach and team, in desperation trying to convince themselves of something. It must be grating on them that the Pats and BB are "not buying" into this little trap. I said it before and I will say it again, it is looking more and more like the beat down from Dec 6th is still playing on their fragile psyches. In a desperate attempt at head games to reverse it on us, it is failing miserably, and they are running out of ideas, and time.

Do you put everything TFB endorses under a microscope? You act just like Ines Sainz.

If Brady looks, that's one thing, if Brady actually points his finger, that's another.

I'm a Patriots fan, but pointing can be seen as taunting. Brady needs to avoid anything that can get him a penalty. The NFL is very strict on celebrations and the like, so I have no doubt they will fine him if he does it and consider penalizing him in game if he keeps it up.

I care about the 15 yards more than I do what Rex Ryan thinks.

Something for Ryan to consider is if Sanchez develops into an elite QB at some point, he will be granted all the slack that is generally cut for every NFL elite QB. I won't argue that point, QBs the top ones, do get more slack cut for them in general. Something an NBA ref said that was starkly honest was he was asked why he didn't call Michael Jordan for traveling more, and he said, sometimes it's hard to separate the fan in you, the awe you get when you see him play.

Elite players will get the benefit of the doubt in most cases in most sports. Ryan is just going to have to live with that.

This whole Ryan/Jets mouthing off has already gone from ridiculous to the absurd to the bizarre.

And it's only Wednesday.

I can't even begin to imagine how ludicrous it will be over the next three days.

your team has been a joke for 40 years, congrats!

Huh? Brady didn't point at anyone. If he did, the NFL Network, who has been touting the Jets ridiculousness for days now, would have brought out the tape. And how the heck can this dumbazz see where Brady is looking all the way across the field when he is supposed to be coaching his team? I guess we now know the real reason the Jets lost 45-3, Rex was "watching the QB's eyes" rather than coaching the game.

I guess we're going to have to chip in and get Brady some night shades so he can put them on when he comes off the field, so as not to offend anyone on the opposite sideline and such.

It would be such a travesty in so many ways if the Jets win this game, or even come close. Please take notice football gods!!
