Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

I don't care if he picks against us and have no problem him displaying his hatred for us now and then.

What makes it aggravating is the fact that he lets the hate prevent him for doing what he's paid to do - be a football commentator - when it comes to commenting about the Pats.

The moronic and ridiculous reasons he struts out to support his persistent negative comments against BB and the players tempts me to throw my remote every time he opens his mouth.

When blind hatred prevents you from being objective in a national TV, you should realize that the channel is keeping you more as an entertainer and not an expert on the field. Glad that he doesn't have the brians to realize that and pity that I don't get entertained by his antics.

That's exactly what I was thinking the other day. It's totally unprofessional IMO, practically like hiring a Steelers or Jets fan to comment on the Patriots. You know which way he is going to swing before he even opens his mouth.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

Salam Shmessy, my bad on which Faulk. Thanks for editing. Thanks buddy. I just can't get over how Marshall is still bitter and like you said it's ok to not like the Pats, but just give credit when they deserve it. Irwin picked the Pats and M.Faulk's reaction was like ' don't be stupid'! Thanks and I so hope you can post what they say about the result, if they ever will. Cheers my friend.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

I remember him saying that. The statement was so ludicrous it was almost surreal. I wonder if they even believe the stuff they are saying.

As soon as I heard him say it, I was straight on NFL.com to see the stats for Gholston to make sure I hadn't missed something :)

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

I really can't remember reading any post, ( was away a couple days before the Jets game) regarding Marshall Faulk' s opinion. Ok , he has the right to say that the Jets are the best team and that they would win. But when I heard him clearly say, between BB and Ryan, there was no doubt who he'd play for ! Ryan here I nearly spilled my coffee. What's with Faulk ? When will he stop hating ? When is he going to get over that SB loss and get on with his life ? After that clear statement of hatred for BB and the Patriots I have decided to hate the guy. Has he ever picked the Pats to win ? One thing I am going to bet is he either choked on his dinner Monday night or got stomach ulcer at the end of the game. The guy is crazy and a hater. Did you watch the game Mr. Faulk ?

never mind people giving their opinions on who will win e.t.c

But the sheer fact that there was even a question "who is the better coach BB or Rex" i thought was absolutely ridiculous and the fact people like springs and faulk even thought about arguing for Rex more reflects them being idiots then anything else.

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

well that's what you got when you beat him badly both physically and mentally :singing:

Re: Were you watching Mr. (Marshall) Faulk ?

Faulk, Tom Jackson and Chris Carter.. haters all, and one might think that they would stop acting and looking like complete buttholes on national TV.. but their hate of BB supercedes all reason.

Way to go Malaprop!

Bro you are hilarious. Your signature line is a backwards misquote of what BRADY said in the postgame interview. You and the dimwitted broad on ESPN the other day both boned it.

Bill Belichick is a big...no huge admirer of Paul Brown which is where the quote came from. The original i think was "when you win say nothing when you lose say less."

I think Eisen is a big Brady fan, but I don't know about him being a Pats fan.

Eisen is a Jets fan, but he does seem to have a lot of respect for Brady.

I don't think the question was 'Who is the better coach?' I think it was 'Which coach would you rather play for?' and tbh I can understand a player choosing to play for a coach who is more 'fun' and relaxed, like Rex Ryan, over someone like BB who runs a tight ship, even if playing for BB increases your chances to win a championship.

I see how this is on topic

Of course, if you really understood anything, you would realize that Belichick's version is updated for today's NFL, where players saying nothing to the media is against NFL rules.

The actual quote from Brady, which I think is DarrylS's intent, is:

""We don't listen to the hype," Brady said. "I don't think we ever have. We really take after our coach (Bill Belichick), and he says 'When you win, say little. When you lose, say less."

Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

anyone see the post game after the pitt/car game ?they were talking which teams can challenge pats in foxborough. faulk said "sanchez cant because belichick will take out what you do best - he will stop their running game - he took me out of the game in the superbowl..." then he slow inserts "it was illegal but he took me out of the game"...lol

Deion Sanders was funny. "THEY TOOK MARSHALL FAULK OUT OF THE GAME!!!"

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Marshall has to admit that his anger is then misplaced. He should be angry at the Refs for not flagging all those "illegal" plays. Marshall makes me laugh, but if I was him, I'd be friggin pissed too...lol!

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

It was completely legal to knock him on his butt repeatedly, as he rarely got past five yards beyond the LOS. The main problem he had is he was usually looking back at the QB, and kept getting blindsided by McGoo and Vrabel.

The one time he was actually TACKLED by McGoo, #55 got flagged, negating a 99 yard TD by Tebucky. Had the refs not called that one, it wouldn't have been as close as it was. :)

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Someone should seriously record all of these and make a montage of all the stupid things he says. Or just make a twitter account and post the quotes on there.

Re: Marshall Faulk tonite on NFLN

Great stuff, he will never get over it!
