Do you think Brady ends his career as a Pat?

His folks maintain dual residences these days. His dad opened an office of his business in Boston. Two of his sisters have lived here for years now. Jack's maternal grandparents live in East Longmeadow, and Bridget grew up here and still divides her time between east and west coasts. If Tom worked out there and she got a gig filming in NY he'd face the same situation in reverse...Giselle's folks still live in Brazil but I don't expect the Bundchen-Brady's to relocate there any time soon. Tom and Bridget worked out their custody a while ago and Jack is here often, probably courtesy of his grandmothers logging frequent flyer miles.

You're very specific.

I'll stop being a Pats fan if the team chooses to let him go

the same way I parted ways with the Vikings when Moss left

I really hope not ... I was hoping to get a few 1st round picks from a warm weather or dome team.

I sure hope Brady finishes his career as a Pat, but its sad to say that its not rare for this to not happen.

Re: Do You Think Brady Ends His Career A Pat ?

Congratulations, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Far and away, the stupidest thing I have ever seen posted on this board, and that covers some territory. Well done.

Geez, I forgot how well they're doing this year. My bad.

Wearing a helmut while riding on one of those small bus's bring back memories? Not that that would be bad.

I know how dumb of me, they're rolling this year. :ugh:

I actually think it would be cool to see him play for the Niners, i'd prefer him retiring with us though. He loved them as a kid and i really hope we wouldn't deal him anywhere but there.. because though this heartless system BB has adopted, may so-so work, it's just not morally right ha.

Listening to an episode of PFW In Progress a few weeks ago and all the jocks in the studio were of the opinion the TB plays for another team before he retires.

To be honest this surprised me. Tom is 32 and hopefully he has another 5 good years in him. While he's still capable of playing to a good level I can't see him being anywhere other than the Patriots. Perhaps if for whatever reason BB moved on then maybe he'd feel less tied to the Pats. Not sure I see Tom as a Brett Favre type who will play on for whoever will pay him until he's into his 40's.

Has Tom ever made any comments on ending his career somewhere else ? Tom Brady is a New England Patriot legend and it will be a sad day if he ever wears another teams colours.
if it makes you feel any better. brady just purchased a humongous house in brookline. hopefully that means he plans on staying put for awhile.

Actually I'm just fairly observant.

And a little creepy too.

Nah, creepy is when you believe changing your message board identity alters or somehow bolsters your reputation or image...or tightness.

If Brady were to leave the Patriots, I'd follow his new team and root for them just as heavily I do for the Pats while he's there. I can't say that about any other player that has left the Pats. Brady is the man and I'll support him where ever he goes should he end up leaving us.

The combination of arrogance and ignorance increasingly exhibited on this board as a Patriots decade of dominance winds down is almost mindboggling. Trolls make more sense talking about this team than some of the local disenchanted posters. Honestly, you guys should just go find some other unfortunate team to follow...

As for Brady, he will retire a Patriot because legacy matters to him. Ditto Belichick. And for that matter legacy matters to Kraft, who isn't going to screw his team up by trying to find the next hot thing. GB had no intention of doing that either until Favre forced their hand REPEATEDLY. And even then they tried to buy the SOB off.

Both Tom and Bill will leave on their own terms and probably a year before they truly should because neither is looking to pad their stats or their bank account nor do they have an insatiable ego that can't survive absent constant stroking. It's all about winning to them and if they can't perform to that level any longer or if they lose the drive and fire to they will move on graciously to the next chapter in their lives.

That Legacy BS talk is simply untrue if you look at the BEST QB in NFL history which is Joe Montana who ended up as a Chief after the 49ers decided he was no longer THE SAME GUY.

Brady has been awesome but he still is no Montana and there is no doubt in my mind that if Kraft and whoever is the HC feels that Brady no longer has IT...He will be traded or Brady will retire at that time if he chooses so and we all know Modeling is probably going to be a part of his post career.

Of course that is looking 5-7 years down the road unless Brady himself sees he no longer wants to play after he reaches 35 or so.

I think Belichick will never coach again once he decides to retire,He has been in the game very long and I can't see him doing Parcells-type moves.

How does my name alter or bolster my reputation/image or tightness? I wanted to change my name. And how's that creepy? Nice comeback by the way . Says the guy who knows everything about Brady and his family. That's creepy.

If Montana didn't, anything can happen.

If Brady tries to stick around longer than his effectiveness, he too will be subject to the axe. It's not arrogance, it's being realistic.

He and Giselle are buying an $11 million mansion in Brookline. It sounds to me like Brady thinks he'll be back.

But while I see him completing most of his next contract here it wouldn't surprise me to see Belichick trade him for a 1st rounder if it appears Brady's skills are waning. A team that needs to sell tickets will overpay for him and that could help secure the next franchise player.

I doubt he wants to play anywhere else after this gig. If he's bad enough to be benched or cut, I think he'll call it a day.

It would be mistake to live in Brookline, too far from the stadium and too crowded. Maybe Gisele would like the proximity to the mindless boston nightlife and shopping.

Norfolk, Sherborn, Medfield, Walpole, that's my recommendation. You can buy a lot of land in a very beautiful town there for the price of overpriced brookline. Drew Bledsoe's old estate in Medfield, I think, is owned by Schilling and it's probably for sale as I think he's retiring. Not that medfield-o is really exciting, it isn't, but it's nice.
