What is the point of this? PM wins as many as TB. And maybe they don't rely on AV for the game winners. PM has shown his moxey on the field, and has given credit to the Pats for those wins, because they were the better TEAM. Too bad they are in the same Conference (at least for PM's sake)

I'd say zero. He needs Marvin and Reggie and Dallas and a good running back which takes away lots and lots of money. And you cant just play fiill ins in a 3-4 like you can in the cover 2. So the defense would be so bad, not even Manning could make up for it.

I voted for 1

Manling could NEVER play here...let alone win...NEVER...he's gutless, could never take the heat...the press corps would eat his lunch...stupid stupid question only a hayseed moron Dolt fan would be interested in

I think Payme Manning would have won one if he were a Pat. Then find ways to blow/choke other Superbowls and playoff games in the other seasons...:D

The last one for sure. I'm still pissed at Brady for that performance.

It's really a simple answer..........all of them.

Good god! This crap is killng me!

Three, maybe more.

The defense would have still one the first one. Brady only really had the final drive. The next two Super Bowls, we would have still won because we were considered much better than the Panthers and the Eagles.

Plus, we may have won the Super Bowl the year we lost to Peyton Manning in the championship game. Plus, I do not see little brother beating big brother in this year's Super Bowl.

So I guess he might have won five, same as Brady might have won five.

Let's stop trying to fool ourselves.

Maybe 1. (add characters...)

first the pats had to build a dome...
he doesn't like snow...:D

Manning is the A-Rod of football.

Amazing in the regular season - horrible in the post. Though his 21-3 comeback against us was anything but horrible and deserves all the respect in the world.

Also there is no right answer to this question, you can't just plug in a random player on a different team and be able to assume what they'd do. Maybe more, maybe less - there is no answer.

1, maybe 2.

When you have an elite team around you, you are bound to win at least 1 in this span of time. Better clutch QB's step up more often resulting in more rings. For each of our rings Brady came through big in the clutch - in 2001 it was the Super Bowl drive to FG in 1:20 with no TO's. In 2003 it was his monster performance vs. the Panthers when our defense gave up 29 points. In 2004 it was another brilliant performance in Pittsburgh against the league's best defense. Manning has only had one performance comparable to this, in the 2006 AFCCG, which resulted in his lone ring.

Aside from 2001, 2002, and 2006 Manning would have had a contendor quality supporting cast as our QB, but he wouldve blown at least 2 of them. The supporting cast he had in Indy in 2005 and this year were pretty damn good and he didnt take them past the divisional round, whether it was his fault or not.

Yes.. They would win the same. One player doesn't win a game. A TEAM does.. And replacing one great player with another great player would have no positive or negative with it.. As long as they were all familiar with each other.. And not just throwing a new QB in to deal with totally different WR's all of the sudden.

Pure comedy gold. Thanks for the humor on a slow day.

Oh, ya.. I forgot.. The TEAM doesn't win games in NE, the Camera guy does. My mistake.

Lol, yes, that is actually true. Your field goal kickers always seem to be up there with the best of em'.

I find it humorous that people here really think that Peyton would not have won one Super Bowl with the Patriots. Homerism at its all-time worst.
