Unfortunately the designated home team has won 10 in a row at home.

A road-only streak is more impressive because it isn't interrupted by all those pesky home wins.

Yes but they are going to be wearing their home jerseys. It's totally going to mess up their chi. :D :D :D

And the designated home team has won 18 straight.

18>10

To bad neither team is really a home team.

I guess all of this talk of home/road team doesn't really mean anything to me.

Look guys, it's not about streaks, it's not about the whole season, it's about momentum. It's about the Giants walloping their opponents by an average margin of 3.5 points--more than a field goal!--in their last 2 games while the Patriots squeaked by with just 11 and 9-point victories. It's about the Patriots' aging defense yielding a whopping 22 points in those games compared to just 37 for the Giants' young, fearsome D. It's all about the mo.

 Good one!

Besides, the Giants will be visiting team in name only. Few Patriot fans are buying tickets @ $4300 (been there, done that, maybe next year), whereas Giants fans are paying the price. It'll be like Jacksonville, where Eagle fans in the stands outnumbered Pats fans 10-1.

The Giants are the de facto home team no matter what the NFL says.
