Moss hasn't faced a guy like this

Actually, Cromartie's verticle leap is 46 inches. That picture doesn't demonstrate his full leaping ability but it gives you just a taste. Also, Cromartie is 6'3" inches and has long arms so that gives him an extra advantage over the typical 5'10 corners.

Do you forget that over the last 8 weeks, we have the best overall defense? Our players have just gotten used to the new defensive coordinator and are playing good in all areas. Your team has a lot of good receivers, although all of them are not equally gifted as you claim. Moss is clearly the best receiver in the league and Welker is the second best, Stallworth is the 3rd best.

At least your right ..... In the League

Even Deion Sanders said that he's a freakishly gifted corner and that's coming from the best corner in NFL history.

Sorry but you are offically certifiable.

Ever hear of Mike Haynes, Ronnie Lott or Mel Blount?

Are you Crow-martie's man biatch or something ? cuz you sure are oozing your testosterone over his 46incher

Holy ****, Cromartie, you are one resilient fanboy (bordering on wholly unintelligent) poster. That's not a good thing.

Something tells me you aren't going to be back after Brady torches that Chargers defense (and Jesus H. Cromartie).

There are no corners in the league today that are as physically gifted as Cromartie. Even Deion Sanders said that he's a freakishly gifted corner and that's coming from the best corner in NFL history.

So then how did this incredible Chargers secondary give up 402 yards to the Colts? The way you describe this team, I'm suprised that anyone would ever complete a pass against them.

Here's the new Chargers strategy: Cromartie throws the ball 80 yards deep and then using his 4.3 speed and 46-inch vertical he catches the ball himself. Then on defense, he can line up against all the Patriot receivers. That spells victory if you ask me.

Hey Cromartie ....Don't use too many shades of lipstick ....It will start to look like a rainbow

Deion Sanders wasn't the BEST corner in NFL history. I love you Johnny come latelies who know nothing of football history.

I don't give a flying fu** what Deion Sanders says. He's a loud mouth who is wrong just as much as he is right.

Sorry, but Cromartie and his brethren just gave up over 400 yards to Peyton Manning and the Colts offense. An offense that wasn't nearly as prolific as the Pats.

And you think that Moss is going to be scared of Cromartie? You're a tool and really don't know squat about the game.

Sorry, SFBs, but Cromartie's vertical is only 38 inches. Unless he is on juice and has bulked up his leg muscles or something because that's all he did before and after the combine and after his surgery.

The Chargers played a bunch of GARBAGE teams. SO FRIGGING WHAT. Only the Titans and Colts had winning records. And the Colts were missing half their starting defensive line. You think I should be impressed? What a joke you are.

Also, I suggest you improve your reading comprehension. I said they were all just as deadly. I did not say they were all equal in talent. Meaning they can ALL beat you. If you take one away, there are 5 others ready to step up.

and don;t forget after having 3 picks against manning, Crowmartie and the Chargers(6 total picks), destroyed the Colts 23-21 on a last minute missed FG, in a game where Manning still threw for 328 yds and 2 TDS vs the VAUNTED SD secondary and its superman Crowmartie

Bill Belichick is going to eat this kid alive. He is going to study him and take every bit of aggressiveness or weakness that this kid displays and then show Brady how to exploit it and burn him. He will take this kid's athleticism and use it it against him and make him look like a fool.

Belichick eats rookie CB's for breakfast.

Have fun jerking off to your photos of Cromartie, maybe they will keep you warm in the offseason (which starts next week for you).

ha! if only yards won games, all you pats fans really would be undefeated, but its points that win games. Who cares if we gave up 402 yards? we won the game!

Newsflash: We're undefeated.

Reminds me of the old saw, "Talent and a dime (well, now I guess it's 5 bucks!) will get you a cup of coffee".

Listening to this ballwasher, you'd think this Cromartie character is single-handedly going to make the forward pass obsolete!

Please - we are begging you! Put this Cromartie guy in single coverage on Moss!!! Do the classy thing - make us happy!!!:D :D :D

That was sort of the gameplan. We gave the receivers some room and tightened up in the red zone. The last drive where Peyton went 4 and out we changed it up and brought the heavy pressure and tightened up on their receivers. He wasn't allowed to sit back and dink and dunk like he did all game. Kept him guessing and didn't allow him to comeback. Either way, we won.

Great gameplan: let them get to the red zone and hope they drop some passes. NO wonder the Chargers are the greatest dynasty ever.

Points .....Oh you mean like the most scored in a season? Those Points? .....

Dude ....this is the Patriots Fans forums .....not the Colts Forums...go away

Yup this ****** needs to learn some history.

My memories of Mike Haynes are from when he and Lester "The Molester" Hayes shut down the 80's version of the Greatest Show on Turf when the Raiders beat the Redskins 38-9 in Superbowl 18. They shut down the fun bunch with old fashioned man on man coverage.

The Redskins had a CB who wasn't too shabby either by the name of Darrell Green. Funny thing is he could probably still outrun half the CB's in the league now.

Deion Sanders is not the be all end all of CB's. He just gets the most press because he has the biggest mouth.

Cromartie has a 38 inch vertical? So what? Ellis Hobbs has a 42 inch vertical.

I think you just might find the 6'4" Randy Moss' vert listed at 51".

Edit: I've found Moss' vert listed at 42" inches elsewhere. He's also listed as having a "four foot" vertical here

I'm also not sure of that list's accuracy, as he doesn't include many NFL players with comfirmed 40"+ verts, and he includes "Shaq" twice...
