we got "lucky"?

take away the two long plays??

we ran it down their throats???

was there ANOTHER Steeler game played somewhere this afternoon?

Well, it's weird. The Steelers had some positives in this game, it's just that the negatives were so overwhelming that any objective fan of the team has to say, who gives a **** about that? Look at this.

I think there's a natural shock whenever your team goes into play the best team in the league, keeps it close through the first half and then absolutely ******* disintegrates in the second half. It's disturbing. It's confusing. It sucks.

reads like all those posters know each other well and for a long time...it gets like that on a lot of team boards, I've noticed over the years of surfing Al Gore's creation(j/k). The other Steeler board seems to have a larger fan base...but way more yahoos

No fans of any opposing team deserve respect. Screw them. They suck. Their team sucks. They are jealous. They can kiss my you-know-what.

No, I don't know. What?

Yeah, it gets like a hen house, which is why I post there sparingly. Plus there's competition for the guy who comes up with "the plan" or who makes the prediction.

Look, in any fan base you have the realists and the Kool-Aid drinkers. I happen to be a realist, which is one of the reasons I tend to get along with enemy fans.

Plus, as Tony Soprano said, "those who want respect, give respect."

There were a FEW Steeler fans that were OK.

But the vast majority Steeler fans that came here, lowered the bar for trolling. I for one am glad to see them go.

No comments on the fans because every team has its share of amazing and disgusting fans in its core.

But, want to tip off my to Big Ben, who has sounded like a level-headed nice guy both on the field and off. I think he mentioned in his PC last night that it was an honor to watch Brady on the field or something like that. I am not dismissing that as PR but consider that as a real admiration from the youngest QB to win the SB.

Okay, there were some that talked sh!t but for the most part I've felt the Steelers fans have been the most gracious leading up to this game and in defeat. They've taken it well, haven't made excuses (like the Colts fans) and have been mostly complimentary of the Pats after this game. We get a lot of trolls here, but I'd say that, especially for a legit team, the Steelers fans have been the most respectful, knowledgeable and accepting of defeat. Good luck to your team/organization, who I believe does everything well, you have a very good team.

I'm wicked drunk by the way.
you need a drug test

Yeah, and that is also the one thing that pisses me off about Stealer fans the most. When they try to put Rothlisdizzle in the same light as Brady. I have listened for several years as Steelers fans try to convince us that Ben is BETTER than Brady. At least now they are saying AS GOOD AS, which is a small step in the correct direction.

Ben would stand around and hand off the ball, let his defense score the points, and complete 11 passes or so and the fans would point to his QB rating. You can complete one pass and have a perfect rating, by the way.

Ben will fade away like 99% of NFL players.

TimeSteel was cool too....

I just meant looking at their boards (steelersfever.com) the vast majority of threads and posts seem to indicate something along the lines of "the better team won"

Because the better team DID win. We're suppose to respect them because for that?

Hey guys,

I live in Pittsburgh and am a Steeler fan and I just want to say that the better team clearly won yesterday. The Patriots are one of the best teams I have ever seen period and while I don't particularly like the team, I am rooting for them to make history and finally shut up those aging geezers from the undefeated Dolphins. Good luck Pats!
