Brian Branch is an absolute baller. I agree that his 40 was disappointing, and he does show some long speed issues, but laterally and in short area? He moves quick and hits like a brick. I’d have no problem drafting him at the bottom of the first rd. If we scoop up some solid day 2 picks out of it, even better. He’s that DB that we can put on TE’s, RB’s etc that won’t be a detriment to the run game. I like the player in that bottom 1st-top 2nd a lot. I just don’t know if you need him. You’ve got Duggar, Phillips, Mills, and Peppers all returning. Injuries do happen, as we saw last year but, he would be a great matchup piece. The way he can navigate through trash, picks, and crossers meant to slow a guy down is a thing of beauty.we're trading down...and taking a safety..Brian Branch from Alabama...6 foot..190...4.55 speed...yup, BB will waste zero seconds making this pick in the 1st round...after that we'll take the fifth rated WR on the board because...well that's what we always do in the 2nd round
slow as molasses and not quick. 3 cone shuttle 7.31. That is all you need to know. What your thoughts on WR: Quentin Johnson?
Double Darnell?? Darn you Hyped.Staying pat and taking Paris Johnson or Broderick Jones is fine by me...but I think the Pats' brass trades down and takes a TE in the late first....Darnell Washington...then trade back up in the early 2nd to take Darnell Wright....
Yes, I am calling a double Darnell dip!!!

I'm more confident in a top CB at #14 than a WR... for this team..I want a WR but it will not happen
JNS will be long gone by 14. There are no other WRs worth taking that high. If they want Addison they should trade backI think they're in on some WR trades, specifically Jeudy, but if the Broncos won't bite then they may take one of the top WRs at 14. If a trade partner does bite then they'll look at tackle or corner. Maybe defensive line if someone falls.
Have to disagree there: the year we drafted N Harry I wanted A.J. Brown last year we Reached for T Thornton I wanted George Pickens. This year I think Jordan Addison is a safe First Round pick that fills a Big need a playmaking WR.The talent gap between Pats and other 3 teams in the division is so wide that
No matter what happens in draft we are still looking at a fourth place non playoff team.
Focus should be on building foundational key pieces at critical positions OT, cb, DL
I do not think they should take Addison in first round.
Hope WE are not the Team that Reaches for a Slot WR in the First Round. IF we want a Slot with outside potential Draft Charlie Jones from Purdue in the Third or Fourth Round.JNS will be long gone by 14. There are no other WRs worth taking that high. If they want Addison they should trade back
Or BB will have to Coach for Four more years to catch Shula. I don't see Ten wins on that schedule unless the stars are aligned. After yesterday's trade, I expect a big move Thursday night.
