Why is Tom Brady treating Patriot fans so badly?

Pretty pathetic, to be honest. (Not Brady, but a certain poster in this thread).

Either a gutless bandwagoneer hopping on the flavor of the month, or someone purely playing a part for attention and stimulation. Neither is worthy of much/any respect, especially given how unclever (and flat-out dumb) they are most of the time.

Sorry if that’s too harsh.

Was he a good husband?

My sister met a guy at yoga, and he turned out to be the night cleaner at Gillette. He told her that when he was emptying the trash cans he found a note from Mac, that BB had thrown out, thanking BB for being a great coach and friend. Amazing. Incredible. We both have sisters with secret news and insights of what is going on at Gillette.

I'm not talking smack. I just believe a player who goes to another team but identifies mainly with his former team should sign a 1 day contract to retire with said former team. Peyton did the same thing to - he refused to sign a one day contract with Indy since he was bitter about getting pushed out by Irsay. Do it for the fans.
You should hit up the colts board and voice your displeasure.

Youll meet another man.

Hang in there.

Can I change my username to Ian? It’s a minor change, but I figured I should ask first.
Igor sounds good

Um, take note EVERYONE:

Curran added: "The Patriots had multiple years in which Brady all but crawled on his hands and knees to the door of Robert Kraft and said, 'Please, sign me. I don't want to move from this house in Chestnut Hill. I don't want to uproot my family. I want to finish here as a New England Patriot.' He had no idea what laid over those hills in a place like Tampa Bay, and the chalice of celebrity and branding he could drink from. He wanted to stay here. They didn't let him do it."

Brady wanted to stay in New England.
Belichick and Kraft didn't let him do it.

Case closed.

Do you promise?

LOL, that one's taken - and so was the first one he requested ;)

But yes, username changes are allowed, as long as they're available.

We need to get back to the topic. Tom was a good foot soldier. Didn't really step on anyone's toes, toed the line (figuratively speaking, although he did tow everyone along with him a few times), kept his feet on the ground, and did about all we could ask of him. The guy just kept his feet moving and made everyone better, and led us to six titles.

Granted, his Achille's heel was the Giants, but he put his best foot forward every week and into the offseason, and we were lucky to have him.

Had to shoehorn that in, huh?

I said this when he left, but I figured someday the idea of moving on from Brady a year or too early would be looked back on less satisfying than sticking with him and giving him the Kobe Bryant exit where he retires here and the fans get to celebrate his career and have that moment. So far the team hasn't done anything to justify losing out on that imo.

That said, it's over so everyone should just move on. Enjoy his Patriot HOF ceremony and Pro Football HOF ceremony and when he shows up to a few events in the future. It's not the most important thing. Peyton Manning didn't do it for the Colts either.
