You have Mr Dungy who is so nice and classy. How can anyone not like him.
Playing aginst his team is Mr Classy himself LaDainian Tomlinson. All you have to do is ask LT and he will tell you how much class he has.
Its a shame one of these two classy people have to lose.

I don't know if I can stomach to watch this game.

I sense no sarcasm here  lol

well you have LaClassy McClasslinson and Classy Streams playing against Tony Dungy, who may i remind you, has won the "greatest human being on the planet" award the last 20 years in a row.

Can it rain on both??? ugh...hard to choose....might take the Bolts!!

LOL!

My favorite part of the broadcast last nite was when they were giving Dungy props for ALMOST leaving football to do public service work (prison work or something?). Yeah, well guess what, he didn't quit, he still is a NFL coach making millions. I mean, for about 12 seconds last week I thought about quitting my job, maybe I thought I could be a social worker or fight crime or something. Where can I pick up my medal?

In all seriousness, Dungy is a classy guy.
LT is just a sore loser.

War LT getting hit by lightining.

Your right BUT we need to root for the Chargers for 1 week. If the Colts lose we have a 2 game lead for home field.

Dungy is not a classy guy.

Dungy is a FRAUD

Honestly, to hell with the talk of classy in the NFL. Not one ******* person in the National Football League is perfect (no one is, for that matter), and damn near every one of them go about attempting to gain a competitive advantage. Lot's of trash is levied from both sides during the games, too. I'm sick of this BS. None of us know these people personally and none of us can make a judgment either way, so to hell with it all. There is no class in football.

I don't like Dungy, and that's because he is the coach for the Colts. Period. End of question, because, honestly, the degree I like a player or coach is predicated solely on the color of the laundry they wear on Sunday. And when sports fans admit this, and stop bashing players and coaches for any other reason, the world of sports will be infinitely better.

Dungheap is classy...as long as you fit into his narrow, stereotypical, wacko far right view of the world.

Classiness is the ultimate consolation prize in the NFL, as evidenced by the fact that people who win never seem to feel the need to call themselves classy. It's always the band-aid that's slapped on after a loss.

I think Tony Dungy is a homophobe and subscribes to a level of Christianity that can be really destructive - not in ALL ways, but in some pretty important ones.

However, if I'm being honest, I'll tell you that I think aside from a few issues that I find distasteful, my suspicion is that Dungy is a very good, if annoyingly sanctimonious and hypcritical, individual.

Yah. Too tempting to take a cheap shot. Suffice it to say, we seem to know all about every "destructive" thing BB ever did. We know nothing on the Dungy side, except results. We assume bad results are tied to BB's behavior, but we do not see them. We assume Mr. Dungy's personal tragedies are unrelated to his behavior. It would probably be more consistent to believe that BB's behavior led to middling tragedy, and that the great tragedy in Mr. Dungy's life was at least tied to his behavior in a similarly middling way.

But it's just so tacky to say that.

I agree with you.

I do believe that sanctimony, hypocrisy, and unbending moralism has its own pitfalls, for the children of such characters.

But hey, he wears nice clothes on television, and supports the nation's most prevalent belief system, right?

Probably a great guy.

Don't care who wins. Just glad one will lose.

How is LT a sore loser? He is the first to give credit to the opposition.

Football is not a class game. Football is about being a effing jerk who is willing to take out another man's pride, or his head, kneecaps, etc., to win. Period. That is why we celebrate the flashy recievers. That is why we replay the hard hits. That is why we watch the game.

That said, I will pick Indy for any game against any team except for the Patriots. They have earned that much.

is that vs your far left cindy sheehan view of the world? cmon now

no...that is my "You are a disingenuous, useless troll who needs to run in front of a speeding truck" view.

Go...do it today

If Dungy was truly classy, he would have shut his pie hole during the spygate saga. His comments about Barry Bonds etc...were anything but classy, the man is a complete fraud for even speaking in that situation.

Andy Reid gets raked over the coals for being a bad parenting, but Dungy, who tragically lost his son to a drug related suicide is a damn saint for similar parenting. I know there not at the same 'tragic' level, but there are some similarities to both upbrinings that have been overlooked because one resulted in death and the other in jail sentences. So I ask, if God forbid, one of Reid's son's cannot take it in prison and kills himself, does Andy Reid become a saint too?

Classy, bleh. That's the opinion of the sportswriters, which isn't worth much. I was listening to sports radio here in Tampa (brief happiness at Bucs win leavened with ranting and raving about the horrible mockery of football USF played, with brief asides to Notre Dame's woes, Florida, and the Pats-Colts)

Now, this commentator was talking about how some player (I think for USF) had always struck him as mean, rude, etc, until he met with the man. "It just goes to show you that you can't judge a person by what you see on television," he says. What's the next item on his list of things to cover? "Bill Belichick is a dirtbag!" re: handshake with Dungy. What, you forgot what you just said?

OT, but did anyone see the mockery of football played in Miami, despite the Dolphins having a bye? Miami U managed to run for 300+ yards and lose. Their quarterback completed a grand total of 1 pass, for 84 yards and a touchdown. Their passing game was so awesomely bad that for a while they played without a quarterback. I guess whatever malaise is afflicting the 'Phins had to keep itself amused during the bye week.
