He is not the OC for the Colts that would be Tom Moore. Mudd is our Offensive lines coach.

Correction noted, thank you. I don't know how I'm personally trying to bring him down. The question was asked why we should mention him this week and that is how I know more of him. JJ was very clear about his skill set.

Of course, it NOT OK. But it's against the rules for ALL, not just for those that don't have a seat on the Competition Committee.

I agree with that, actually. That sort of reasoning is lame. The score has never been "run up" in the NFL, not by the Colts, Patriots, 49ers, or anyone else. There is simply no place for the concept in a professional sports league. You know what else we don't have in professional sports leagues? "2-4-6-8, who do we appreciate?" Little league is a place where kids are involved. They are fragile, they are easily influenced, and most importantly, they are at different stages of physical development. "Running up the score" is a legitimate concept b/c it is a legitimate concern at that level. In a professional sports league, especially one with a salary cap, there are adults involved, making millions of dollars, playing on a level playing field. None of the concerns that make "running up the score" a valid concept in Little League - fragile feelings, bad sportsmanship, lack of a level playing field - exist in the NFL, therefore the concept itself doesn't apply.

IF Dungy hadn't done the "holier than thou" comments after the taping deal, then we wouldn't care at all. But with that, and the way the press makes him out to be somehow morally superior, we are not going to allow hypocrisy to go unnoticed.

Keep it informative and on-topic and you are most welcome to remain as a guest. But cut out the "we ought to stop trying to defend the Patriots by....." crap. You are not a "we". Where is anyone defending the Pats in this thread? Are you saying it isn't news when people video-tape defensive signals? Have you been living under a rock the past two months?

I agree - and if one has no problem with the Pats scoring a royal s-load of points on certain teams (all teams), this is the defense that should be used, not the weird, "Well other teams (Colts) have done it too"
