Wait one damn minute. You mean the shoddy tackling wasn't on purpose to "avoid injury"? The shoddy tackling wasn't because the Pats were in a "prevent vanilla defense"? The shoddy tackling wasn't because the Pats had a large lead? The shoddy tackling didn't just occur in the second half but also happened in the first half while the game was still in doubt?
Damn....you mean the homers are wrong? How shocking...not.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new idiotic excuse to explain the Pats' defense shoddy play - Belichick considered this to be a "preseason game".
Points for trying, not for logic.
Ah...the desperate tactic of those without a valid argument "everyone else agrees with me, you're in the minority"..
Newsflash: Validity isn't determined by popularity.
Pats did stop Brown on the pitchout but it was a dreadful playcall as the Dolphins had been running successfully right at the Pats. Pressure on Lemon didn't make Lemon fumble, he essentially dropped the ball.
What you fail to understand as you fall back on the homer refrain of "there was a 35 pt lead so this means the Pats D is good" is that the 35 pt lead was a consequence of the Dolphins awful offense and the Pats stellar offense. If the Dolphins had an average offense, they would have scored at least 21 in the first half. Also, the Pats would have scored LESS because they would have had fewer chances on offense. Thus, there wouldn't have been a 35 pt lead. Get it now??? If not, at least try to grasp this very simple concept. The Pats only play the Dolphins once more...they won't be seeing them in the playoffs.
LMFAO - you really are stupid if you honestly believe that the Pats D would stop the Colts playing as they did today. Manning isn't going to miss the wide open receivers as Lemon did today. Secondly, if the Dolphin's Oline can get Ronnie Brown 4.5 yards a carry, then you can bet that Addai will probably have close to 200 yards running behind Indy's Oline.
What stupid claims have I made? The Pats D was atrocious from the START of the game. This is a fact regardless of how much you continually ignore it.
LMFAO. You're too funny. The Pats weren't bumping receivers at ANY POINT during the game, not in the 1st qtr nor in the 2nd qtr. Again, you keep harping on the second half but the atrocious play occurred from the time the Pats' D stepped onto the field, when the majority of the starters were out there.
translated: "I'm right and you're wrong, because I say so", with a 2nd grade insult thrown in for good measure. Yep, definitely a righty.
Ah....well perhaps because all of the teams the Pats will play from now till the end of the season and in the playoffs aren't ATROCIOUS like the Dolphins. Therefore...it's unlikely that the Pats will outscore them by 21 points because the offenses of THOSE teams will HAVE THE BALL for LONG PERIODS and SCORE on the Pats Defense. Hope you can wrap your "brain" around the concept.
