I think I'm the only person on this board who thinks Cannon can play a solid RT.

With what he did healthy last year and in 2013 plus with Scar coaching him, I think he'll be a pleasant surprise this year to all.

I think Googs really f-ed him up.

Edit: Actually, I guess I don't agree on all counts, because I don't think @robertweathers is the only person who thinks Cannon will be solid. I think so too, while of course cursing again the fact that a first round pick would likely have gone to the O-line this year.

Vollmer was not practicing, I saw that coming just like happened last year with Wendell.

At least there are still 2 games of the pre-season if BB pull a trade the new player won't be totally lost for half season. I mean, they will pull a trade right?

His check downs are getting better, but it will take some time for him to learn to find the open receiver quickly on a consistent basis.

I remember some idiot said something about needing to draft a tackle because of Vollmer and Solder's mounting injury histories. Once big men start getting those kinds of injuries, they're just going to keep on happening.

Please explain to me Solder's mounting injury history. I see people keep spouting this but in fact the injury to Solder last year was the first injury that made him miss games.

Agreed. I think though that he missed one game previously with a concussion.

Since a player has to be on the final 53 to be put on IR, there is no reason to take Vollmer off of PUP until after the season starts.
